Architectural construction technique
A construction technique, for example for residential, light commercial and multifamily building construction, involving pre-fabricated elements. The elements include prefabricated structural components and prefabricated surface components. A technique of incremental building includes assembling a building structure using these pre-fabricated elements.
Mesh seam connection element
A mesh tape bonded to the outer edge or outward side of sheet panel products. The mesh tape is applied so that the tape overhangs the edge of the panel for the purpose of adjoining to the adjacent panel following installation of the panels at a job site. The mesh may be applied to two edges of the sheet panel, one along the panel width and another along the panel length. When installed, the panel edge with the mesh tape applied is overlapped with the edge of an adjacent panel that does not have tape applied, both along the length and width, thus allowing for a faster, more robust and reliable installation of panel sheathing.
FLOOR ELEMENT FOR FORMING A FLOOR COVERING AND A FLOOR COVERING
A floor element for forming a floor covering, wherein the floor element comprises a decorative layer, a support layer, and an intermediate layer disposed between the decorative layer and the support layer, wherein the decorative layer is made of a brittle material, wherein the floor element comprises edges provided with coupling elements adapted to cooperate with coupling elements of an adjacent similar floor element in said floor covering and wherein the intermediate layer comprises at least one edge that is offset relative to a respective edge of the decorative layer.
Method for renovating and reconstructing wet rooms, and renovation set for this purpose
A method and kit for renovating and reconstructing wet rooms, wherein panel modules are attached to a wall, floor, and/or ceiling of the wet room, by providing panel modules having a water-impermeable coating or core; determining an installation position of a panel module; attaching a water-resistant sealing strip section to form an outer contour of the panel module; applying a water resistant sealing adhesive to the sealing strip section such that the sealing adhesive continuously underlays edge regions of two adjacent panel modules; and pressing a first panel module onto a first subregion of the sealing adhesive and a second panel module adjoining the first panel module whereby the two adjacent side regions of the panel modules are completely underlaid with sealing adhesive to produce a seal point between the panel modules to prevent moisture from entering the wall, floor, or ceiling through a joint formed between the panel modules.
Building element in plate shape, in particular floor covering panel, as well as floor covering formed by using said building elements, and method for their arrangement
The invention relates to a building element in plate shape, in particular a floor covering panel, which, apart from a mineral carrier plate or a carrier plate of WPC, comprises an upper side wear layer as well as preferably a lower side levelling layer, as well as to a floor covering formed by using such building elements, and to a method for the arrangement thereof, wherein the side faces thereof comprise a non-locking profile for forming special joints for receiving a material for forming a connection element.
Swellable sealing lip
A panel comprises a swellable sealing lip. The panel comprises a panel top side and a panel bottom side and at least four panel edges arranged mutually facing each other in pairs, with complementary retaining profiles provided in pairs at the mutually facing panel edges, wherein the retaining profiles are configured such that at a retaining profile of one panel further panels with a complementary retaining profile can be mounted. In this case, at least one retaining profile comprises a swellable sealing lip at least partially along its longitudinal axis. Moreover, an arrangement of such panels and a method for producing such panels are proposed. In summary, the above-described panel has the advantage that panel joints can be protected against ingress and penetration of liquids in a particularly good and easy way without applying permanent, additional stresses to the connection of joined retaining profiles.
Composite Joint Seal
The present disclosure relates generally to systems for creating a joint filler or seal in the gap between adjacent panels or assemblies. The present disclosure is directed to providing an expansion joint seal system which includes a foam associated with a non-foam matrix.
Composite joint seal
The present invention relates generally to systems for creating a joint filler or seal in the gap between adjacent panels or assemblies. The present disclosure is directed to providing an expansion joint seal system which includes a foam associated with a non-foam matrix.
Joint Filling Profile
A joint filling profile for forming a joint sealing between floor slabs includes a vertical leg projecting into the joint and a profile body formed from a joint sealing compound and located in a joint widening. The vertical leg and the profile body are separated from each other with the interposition of a first separating material, wherein at least one second separating material is arranged between the vertical leg and the profile body and/or at least one reinforcing mat is arranged within the profile body. The second separating material and/or the reinforcing mat are arranged in such a way that they overlap with the first separating material at least in regions.
Deck system and components
A decking system is made up of a variety of decking boards and other components are disclosed. In some aspects, the decking boards are connectable to each other so that adjacent boards will provide a water barrier and a drainage channel. Some versions of the boards may have a hollow region to accept the provision of heating elements or other accessory structures. A connector piece is disclosed in various embodiments span the gap between the butt ends of the boards to provide a water barrier at the butt ends of the boards. A gutter and downspout system is disclosed, as well as structures for protecting the ends or sides of the deck structure.
