Mechanical locking system for floor panels
Ceramic and stone tiles are shown, which are provided with a locking system including a separate strip part connected to vertical and horizontal grooves formed in the tile edge. A set of ceramic or stone tiles including a first tile provided with a first edge and a second tile provided with a second edge wherein the tiles are provided with a locking system for locking the first edge to the second edge in a horizontal direction parallel with a tile surface and in a vertical direction perpendicular to the horizontal direction, said locking system includes a first and a second tongue and a strip part provided with a first and a second locking element.
Swellable Sealing Lip
A panel comprises a swellable sealing lip. The panel comprises a panel top side and a panel bottom side and at least four panel edges arranged mutually facing each other in pairs, with complementary retaining profiles provided in pairs at the mutually facing panel edges, wherein the retaining profiles are configured such that at a retaining profile of one panel further panels with a complementary retaining profile can be mounted. In this case, at least one retaining profile comprises a swellable sealing lip at least partially along its longitudinal axis. Moreover, an arrangement of such panels and a method for producing such panels are proposed. In summary, the above-described panel has the advantage that panel joints can be protected against ingress and penetration of liquids in a particularly good and easy way without applying permanent, additional stresses to the connection of joined retaining profiles.
Joint filling profile
The invention relates to a joint filling profile for forming a joint sealing between floor panels (3, 4), with a vertical leg (6) that projects into the joint (2) and a profile body (7) formed from a joint sealing compound (9) and situated in a joint enlargement (5), whereby the vertical leg (6) and the profile body (7) are separated from each other by intercalating a separating material (8).
Architectural Construction Technique
A construction technique, for example for residential, light commercial and multifamily building construction, involving pre-fabricated elements. The elements include prefabricated structural components and prefabricated surface components. A technique of incremental building includes assembling a building structure using these pre-fabricated elements.
FLOORING SYSTEM PROVIDED WITH A CONNECTING SYSTEM AND AN ASSOCIATED CONNECTING DEVICE
A flooring system including floor panels and a connecting system for connecting the floor panels is provided. The flooring system includes a first and a second floor panel, and a connecting device that includes a first and a second connecting element. The first connecting element is configured to cooperate with the first and second floor panel for horizontally connecting the first and second floor panel. The second connecting element is configured to cooperate with the first connecting element for vertically connecting the first and the second floor panel. A connecting device for connecting a first and a second floor panel is also provided.
FLOORING UNDERLAYMENT WITH DIMPLE ENDCAPS AND RELATED METHODS
An underlayment for installation between a base surface and a flooring material includes (a) a structural membrane formed of a structural material and including a panel and a plurality of dimples projecting from an underside surface of the panel. Each dimple has a dimple tip spaced apart from the underside surface. The underlayment further includes (b) a plurality of discrete dimple endcaps comprising a resilient material. Each endcap is fixed relative to, and covers at least a portion of, the dimple tip of a respective dimple. The endcaps support the dimples above the base surface when the underlayment is installed.
BUILDING ELEMENT IN PLATE SHAPE, IN PARTICULAR FLOOR COVERING PANEL, AS WELL AS FLOOR COVERING FORMED BY USING SAID BUILDING ELEMENTS, AND METHOD FOR THEIR ARRANGEMENT
The invention relates to a building element in plate shape, in particular a floor covering panel, which, apart from a mineral carrier plate or a carrier plate of WPC, comprises an upper side wear layer as well as preferably a lower side levelling layer, as well as to a floor covering formed by using such building elements, and to a method for the arrangement thereof, wherein the side faces thereof comprise a non-locking profile for forming special joints for receiving a material for forming a connection element.
Method to prevent dry rot damage to a wood fence
A spacer apparatus and method to prevent dry rot damage to a fence is provided. The fence includes posts disposed in the ground, a horizontal support plank coupled to each pair of adjacent posts, pickets disposed on the horizontal support plank, and a pair of horizontal rails disposed on the horizontal support plank. The spacer apparatus includes a plate and a pair of end tabs coupled to the plate, each end tab coupled to a side edge of the plate and having a first width that is less than a second width of the plate along the side edge. The plate is disposed on the horizontal support plank to permit the end tabs to conform to the horizontal support plank for stability, thereby enabling the plate to support the pickets and horizontal rails above the horizontal support plank. The end tabs are then removed from the plate.
Floorboards comprising a decorative edge part in a resilient surface layer
A set of essentially identical floorboards each including a front face and a rear face extending in the horizontal plane, a core, and a surface layer, a mechanical locking system is arranged at least at two opposite edges for connecting a floorboard with an adjacent floorboard in a horizontal and a vertical direction, said mechanical locking system being configured for connecting the floorboard with the adjacent floorboard by vertical folding, wherein one of said opposite edges is provided with a horizontally extending protrusion at an upper edge, and wherein said protrusion is configured to overlap a surface groove at an upper edge of the other of said opposite edges, such that two connected and adjacent floorboards have upper overlapping edges.
FLOOR PANEL WITH SEALING MEANS
Floor panels and floor elements therefore are made of sheet-shaped cores which are formed with sealing means for preventing or counteracting changes in the properties of the floor panels caused by moisture. A floor panel, including a body having a core, in which floor panel at least two opposite parallel joint edge portions are provided with connectors for mechanical joining of the floor panel in the horizontal direction with similar floor panels, the connectors having active locking surfaces for cooperation with corresponding active locking surfaces of adjacent floor panels after the floor panel has been joined therewith, the core having an upper surface layer, wherein a material seal of a resilient surface layer covers the upper surface layer of the core.
