Surface coverings, such as floor coverings, with an interlocking design are described. Methods of making the surface coverings are further described. A plank including a resilient composite sheet having four sides, an upper surface, a lower surface, and an overall thickness, and said composite sheet comprising at least one base layer, wherein said at least one base layer comprising at least one polymeric material and at least one filler, wherein opposite sides of the composite sheet comprise a first tongue on a first side and a first groove on the opposite second side, wherein the first tongue and first groove have complementary shape to each other to be interlockingly engageable with a corresponding groove or tongue on an adjacent floor plank.

Panel

A panel having a panel surface and an edge pair of mutually opposite complementary panel edges provided with complementary locking elements. The complementary locking elements are configured such that, when two panels are assembled, both a locking action of the panel edges in a direction perpendicular to the panel surface and a locking action preventing the panels from moving apart is achieved underneath a visible joint by the assembled complementary locking elements. The panel edges with the locking elements have an upper portion and a lower portion, relative to thickness of the panel. The locking elements are arranged and configured in the lower portion. The upper portion forms the upper joint region, including the visible part of the joint. The upper portion on each panel edge of the edge pair has a chamfer which, when two panels are assembled, forms a depressed joint. The chamfers of the complementary panel edges are different sizes in the upper portion. When two complementary panel edges are assembled, the larger chamfer is covered by the smaller chamfer. A butt-joint abutment surface is provided on a lower end of the larger chamfer.

Joint filling profile
11359367 · 2022-06-14 · ·

A joint filling profile for forming a joint sealing between floor slabs includes a vertical leg projecting into the joint and a profile body formed from a joint sealing compound and located in a joint widening. The vertical leg and the profile body are separated from each other with the interposition of a first separating material, wherein at least one second separating material is arranged between the vertical leg and the profile body and/or at least one reinforcing mat is arranged within the profile body. The second separating material and/or the reinforcing mat are arranged in such a way that they overlap with the first separating material at least in regions.

A floor panel has a substrate and a decorative layer of wood veneer provided thereon having a thickness of 1 millimeter or less. The substrate has an average density of more than 750 kilograms per cubic meter. The floor panel is rectangular and oblong and comprises a pair of opposite short edges and a pair of opposite long edges. The floor panel, on at least said two opposite long edges, is provided with coupling means allowing that two of such floor panels can be coupled to each other in a vertical direction perpendicular to the plane of the coupled panels and in a horizontal direction in this plane and perpendicular to the respective edge. The wood veneer and/or the substrate immediately underneath the wood veneer is treated at least at the short edges with a fluoro copolymer or a polymeric methylene diphenyl diisocyanate.

A FLOOR ELEMENT FOR FORMING A FLOOR COVERING, A FLOOR COVERING, AND A METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A FLOOR ELEMENT

A floor element for forming a floor covering, wherein the floor element comprises a board having edges provided with coupling elements adapted to cooperate with coupling elements of an adjacent similar floor element in said floor covering wherein the coupling elements comprise at least one male part and at least one female part said male part being positioned along a first edge and protruding outwardly beyond an upper edge at said first edge, said female part being positioned along a second edge and extending inwardly beyond an upper edge at said second edge to thereby form a recess for at least partially receive the male part, wherein said recess comprises an inlet opening having a vertical breadth, with the characteristic that the ratio between the vertical breadth and the thickness of the board is more than 0.4.

COATED PANEL AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SUCH PANEL

A method may be provided for manufacturing a panel that may include a substrate and a top layer provided on the substrate. The top layer may have a printed motif and a translucent or transparent synthetic material layer provided above the printed motif. The panel may have a structure or relief at the surface. The method may involve milling profiles into the substrate to obtain mechanical coupling means for coupling together two of the panels. The structure or relief and/or the printed motif may be realized after milling the profiles into the substrate.

COATED PANEL, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THEREOF AND MILLING TOOL APPLIED THEREWITH

A coated panel with a substrate and a decorative top layer, such that the decorative top layer includes a print and a transparent wearing layer applied thereon. The panel has a lowered edge region at least on one edge. Both the aforementioned print and the aforementioned wearing layer extend continuously from on the central area of the panel over the aforementioned lowered edge region. The aforementioned wearing layer has a lower degree of gloss at the location of the lowered edge region than on the central area of the aforementioned coated panel and/or has a degree of gloss of 10 or less measured according to DIN 67530. A method for manufacturing is provided for the coated panel and to a milling tool applied therewith.

Floor panels

A floor panel including a top layer and a substrate, where the substrate at least one first layer of a first thermoplastic material and a second layer of a second thermoplastic material, where the second layer is adjacent to a first side of the first layer. The first layer is characterized by a first colour with luminance value L1 in the HSL colour space and the second layer is characterized by a second colour with luminance value L2 in the HSL colour space, where L1 is different from L2.

Set of panels

A set of panels including first and second panels. The first and second panels respectively include first and second edges. The first edge includes a locking strip with a locking element configured to cooperate with a locking groove at the second edge for locking the first edge to the second edge. The locking element includes a first locking surface at a first angle from a plane parallel to the first panel surface and the locking groove includes a second locking surface at a second angle from a plane parallel to the third panel surface.
