A floor panel has a rectangular and oblong shape, and includes a substrate and a top layer provided on the substrate and forming a decorative side of the floor panel. The top layer is composed of a print provided on a carrier sheet and a transparent thermoplastic layer situated above the print. The substrate has a thickness from 2 to 10 millimeter and forms at least half of the thickness of the floor panel. The substrate is a polyurethane-based substrate and the transparent thermoplastic layer is polyurethane-based. The floor panel has a length of more than 1.1 meters and has a plurality of reinforcing layers situated outside the center line of the substrate. A reinforcing layer may be provided in combination with the substrate and the top layer.

The present invention relates to a panel, such as a floor panel, a wall panel or a ceiling panel, in particular a decorative floor panel. A set of panels including first and second panels. The first and second panels have a first, second and third edge. The first edge of the first panel is configured to be able to be locked together with both the second edge and the third edge of the second panel. The first edge includes a first locking element configured to be able to cooperate with a first locking groove at the second edge and a second locking groove at the third edge for locking in a horizontal direction. The first edge includes a tongue groove configured to cooperate with a tongue at the second edge and a tongue at the third edge for locking in a vertical direction. A vertical joint system for a surface covering panel having an upper and lower surfaces, and a plurality of sides located between the upper and lower surfaces. The joint system has a male part along at least one side and a female part along an opposite side. The female part has a protrusion that extends from the lower surface and an outer most female surface on the protrusion. The male part has a recess that opens onto the lower surface with a portion of the recess forming an inner most male surface. A tile for use as a covering on a floor, wall, or other surface comprising a top section disposed on a core layer. Such a core layer may be comprised of a rigid material, such as densified foam, or stone plastic composite, or some other material, such as a mineral fiber composition or some other dimensionally stable material. Such a top section may comprise a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) layer and/or a wear layer, which may be comprised of at least one paper layer saturated with at least one resinous compound. The inventive tile in some embodiments described herein further comprises an exposed portion, or a plurality thereof, configured to provide a highly realistic imitation of a grout line. A floor may include a substrate having a top side and a bottom side. A top layer may be provided on the substrate. The top layer may consist of a printed thermoplastic film and a thermoplastic transparent or translucent layer provided on the printed thermoplastic film. The top layer may be directly adhered to the substrate by heat welding the printed thermoplastic film and the top side of the substrate, in the absence of a glue layer. The substrate may be a synthetic material board including a filler. The substrate at least at two opposite edges may include coupling means provided in the synthetic material board. The thermoplastic transparent or translucent layer may be provided with a structure.
