Interconnectable Tiling System
A tile system for covering a surface. The tile system comprises a first tile assembly connected to a second tile assembly by a connector. Each tile assembly comprises a first tile stacked on a second tile, the first tile and the second tile joined to a reinforcing material disposed therebetween. The connector comprises a first component and a second component that is complementary to the first component. The first component is mounted to the first tile assembly, and the second component is mounted to the second tile assembly.
Attachment system, E.G., for panels
A system for fastening a covering on a surface includes a first assembly comprising a first retaining element; and a second assembly comprising a second retaining element; the first and second retaining elements being configured to engage each other so as to form a reversible bond; the system being characterized in that the first retaining element comprises an array of retaining elements comprising hooks having a height (Hc) lying in the range 0.05 mm (0.0020 in) to 1 mm (0.039 in), and the second retaining element comprises an array of retaining elements comprising loops having a height (Hb) lying in the range 0.1 mm (0.0039 in) to 3.0 mm (0.12 in).
Photoresist Stripper
Improved stripper solutions for removing photoresists from substrates are provided that typically have freezing points below about 0? C. and high loading capacities. The stripper solutions comprise dimethyl sulfoxide, quaternary ammonium hydroxide, and an alkanolamine having at least two carbon atoms, at least one amino substituent and at least one hydroxyl substituent, the amino and hydroxyl substituents attached to two different carbon atoms. Some formulations can additionally contain a secondary solvent. The formulations do not contain tetramethylammonium hydroxide. Methods for use of the stripping solutions are additionally provided.
Padded injury reducing non slip pool decking
A padded injury reducing non slip pool decking has an expanded polypropylene substrate as a core with its surfaces and a coating upon the surfaces adhered following skiving upon the surfaces. The present invention seeks to reduce slip injuries around a pool by providing a padded surface. The padded surface attenuates impact forces that occur when a person falls, or a body part of a person, hits the deck. The present invention provides a cushioning action that has increased energy absorption properties over the existing surfaces around swimming pools. The core utilizes expanded polypropylene melted from its pellet stage into generally slab form with a polyurethane coating. The coating has a precise mixture of three components and various additives. The components include methylenebis and isothianzolin and the additives include traction, tints, among other things.
ATTACHMENT SYSTEM, E.G., FOR PANELS
A system for fastening a covering on a surface, the system comprising:
a first assembly (100) comprising a first retaining element (120); and
a second assembly (200) comprising a second retaining element (220);
the first and second retaining elements (120, 220) being configured to engage each other so as to form a reversible bond;
the system being characterized in that the first retaining element (120) comprises an array of retaining elements comprising hooks having a height (Hc) lying in the range 0.05 mm to 1 mm, and the second retaining element (220) comprises an array of retaining elements comprising loops having a height (Hb) lying in the range 0.1 mm to 3.0 mm.
Methods and systems for engagement of decorative covering
Kits and methods for installing, repairing and/or replacing a decorative covering on a non-decorative substrate. The kit may include an engagement layer, a decorative covering and/or a substrate.
Modular patio assembly
A module patio assembly includes a groundsheet formed of landscape fabric, parallel wooden sleepers connected to and extending transversely of the groundsheet, and parallel row of prefabricated deck tiles mounted on the sleepers. Cooperating hook and eye fasteners are provided on the top surfaces of the sleepers and on the bottom surfaces of the deck tiles for securing the deck tiles to the sleepers.
Floor or wall covering system with laying units which can be combined in a modular manner
Surface laying unit (100) for laying with other surface laying units (100) on an underlying surface (300), wherein the surface laying unit (100) has a useful layer (102) and a connecting structure (104) which is provided directly on an underside of the useful layer (102) and which is designed for connecting to the underlying surface (300).
Flooring Having At Least One Replaceable Section
A flooring having at least one replaceable section that allows a section of installed flooring to be removed and replaced with a new section. The flooring can consist of either a hard floor such as linoleum or vinyl, or carpet. Replaceable section(s) of carpet are especially adaptable and effective, therefore carpet is the preferred type of flooring. The section of installed carpet has an upper surface, a lower surface and edges. The new replacement section also has an upper surface, a lower surface, and edges. The new section is dimensioned the same as the removed section and is inserted into a cavity that is created when a section of carpet or hard floor is removed. The cavity has an inner lower surface and an interior edge. Once installed, each new section is maintained within the respective cavity by attachment means.
