SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DIVERTING FLUIDS
20170292263 · 2017-10-12 ·

A system for diverting fluids consisting essentially of a wedge installed on a surface. The wedge is preferably triangular in area, but may be in the form of other shapes as required by the application. When viewed from the side, the wedge will often have a triangular shape because the front edge of the wedge is substantially lower than the rear edge, corner, or other shape to induce fluids and other materials to run off the sloped surface of the wedge. The system may include an adhesive to join the wedge and the surface. It may also include a sealing material disposed over the wedge and the surface to prevent incursion of fluids and other materials between the wedge and the surface.

A floor assembly includes a plurality of boards and bases. Each board is provided on the bottom surface thereof with a sliding groove. Each base includes a main body, a positioning member, and first and second buckling members. The positioning member is slidably disposed in the sliding groove of the board. The first buckling member is located at the left side of the main body and has a buckling block and a notch. The second buckling member is located at the right side of the main body and has an accommodating space and a protrusion. The adjacent bases are connected with each other in a way that the buckling block is disposed in the accommodating space and the protrusion is embedded in the notch. As a result, the floor assembly is simplified in structure and assembling process, thereby convenient in construction and stable in structure.
