Various embodiments provide surface compositions and methods for durable and/or load-bearing surfaces in a variety of industrial, animal, and marine applications. Compositions and methods may comprise utilizing a liquid binder, catalyst, primer, and/or antimicrobial composition to provide durable, waterproof, and/or long-lasting surface compositions to dispose within the roadway voids and/or to create a durable, sanitary surface. The surface compositions may cure rapidly through an internal exothermic reaction process to form the repair and/or the safety flooring. The surface composition may be substantially impermeable to animal waste and resistant to harboring agents of disease. In some embodiments, a filler materials may be disposed within the liquid binders to provide elasticity, compression, slip resistance, heat transfer, reduced cure time, and/or a desired surface texture to the surface composition.

The toilet flange adapter tile is adapted for use with flooring tiles. The toilet flange adapter tile is further adapted for use with toilets. The toilet flange adapter tile is a preformed tile that comprises an aperture that is sized to fit around the floor flange and fixture gasket of a standard plumbing hook up for a toilet. The toilet flange adapter tile further comprises a plurality of scoring lines that allow the toilet flange adapter tile to be readily cut to fit into the master tile pattern the toilet flange adapter tile is being integrated. The toilet flange adapter tile further comprises a plurality of mounting holes that allow the toilet flange adapter tile to be secured to the under flooring during installation. The toilet flange adapter tile is a tile that further comprises an aperture, a plurality of mounting holes; and a plurality of scoring lines.

ANTI-SLIP, LIQUID MANAGEMENT FLOORING SURFACE COVER ARTICLE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE

An anti-slip, liquid management cover article for a flooring surface. The article includes a film defining a working face. A microstructured surface is formed at the working face, and includes a plurality of primary ridges and capillary microchannels each having a bottom surface. Each primary ridge is an elongated body having a length. A shape of a portion of at least one of the primary ridges is non-uniform in a direction of the length. The capillary microchannels facilitate spontaneous wicking of liquid. With this construction, the non-uniform shape establishes an elevated coefficient of friction at the working face as measured in multiple directions. The cover article minimizes the risk of pedestrian slippage, even in the presence of water or other liquids.

A set of essentially identical floorboards each including a front face and a rear face extending in the horizontal plane, a core, and a surface layer, a mechanical locking system is arranged at least at two opposite edges for connecting a floorboard with an adjacent floorboard in a horizontal and a vertical direction, said mechanical locking system being configured for connecting the floorboard with the adjacent floorboard by vertical folding, wherein one of said opposite edges is provided with a horizontally extending protrusion at an upper edge, and wherein said protrusion is configured to overlap a surface groove at an upper edge of the other of said opposite edges, such that two connected and adjacent floorboards have upper overlapping edges.

SURFACE COVERING SYSTEM AND METHODS FOR PREPARING SUCH A SYSTEM
20170183864 · 2017-06-29 ·

The invention relates to a surface coverings system for a surface such as a roof, a floor or another substantially flat surface subjected to water and needs drainage, and methods for preparing such a system. The surface covering system comprises a rectangular plate with a mark marking a highest point, a substantially flat lower surface and an upper surface with a first slope facing from the mark towards a second mark provided in connection to the outer edge of the plate. The first slope is circular and has a linear radial inclination () facing from the mark towards essentially all points on the rectangular plate. The slope forms an elevation in the plate forming at least a part of a cone or blunt cone with the tip of the cone defined by the mark with the lowest point(s) of the upper surface of the disc defined by the second mark.
