Decorative panel and method of manufacturing a decorative panel
The invention relates to a decorative panel, in particular a floor panel, ceiling panel or wall panel, and to a method for manufacturing such decorative panel. The panel according to the present invention comprises includes at least one foamed layer comprising including an upper side and a lower side, and at least one decorative solid layer either directly or indirectly, affixed on said upper side of the foamed layer, wherein both the foamed layer and the decorative solid layer are wood based materials. The invention also relates to a floor covering consisting of a plurality of such panels.
PANEL AND METHODS FOR MANUFACTURING A PANEL
A panel including a primary and a secondary substrate layer, an intermediate layer, and a top layer. The intermediate layer is located between the primary and secondary substrate layers. The top layer is applied on the secondary substrate layer. The intermediate layer has at least one of the following properties: the intermediate layer has a Shore A hardness that is 10 units lower than the Shore A hardness of the primary and/or secondary substrate layer; the intermediate layer has an elastic modulus that is at least 10.0% lower than the elastic modulus of the primary and/or secondary substrate layer; the intermediate layer includes a material with a substantially open cell structure; or the intermediate layer includes a foamed thermoplastic material or a foamed thermosetting material. Methods are provided for manufacturing the panel.
ACOUSTICAL FLOORING TILE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE
An acoustical vinyl tile having an integral acoustical layer is disclosed. The vinyl tile includes a vinyl portion and an acoustical portion. The acoustical portion may comprise a crumb rubber component and a polyurethane foam component. The acoustical portion can include 10-40% crumb rubber and 60-90% polyurethane foam. The acoustical portion may comprise a plurality of individual layers, the combination of which is customized to the particular sub-floor structure to which the tile will be adhered or overlain. The individual layers of the acoustical portion can include any of a variety of combinations of rubber, cork, polyurethane foam, and the like. The resulting tile meets one or more of ASTM E 2179, ASTM E 989, ASTM E 492, and ASTM E1007 IIC sound requirements. A method of designing the disclosed tile to suit a particular flooring application is also disclosed. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

PANEL HAVING DECORATIVE LAYER AND METHOD FOR PRINTING PANELS
A printed image for the decor of a panel and a method for imprinting plates, in particular wall, ceiling or floor panels. The method includes the following steps: (i) providing a plate; (ii) applying a primer by means of a liquid curtain of coating material on/to a main surface of the plate; (iii) optionally drying and/or curing the primer; (iv) treating the surface of the primer by means of at least one of the following measures: a) corona treatment; b) plasma treatment; c) applying an oil in an aqueous dilution and (v) applying a decorative decor.
SOUND ATTENUATING LAMINATE MATERIALS
Sound absorbing or attenuating laminate flooring materials are provided, which are directed to be used in the production of floor covering, floor panels, furniture panels, cabinets, counter-tops and wall panels. As well, the methods for producing such products are provided. In particular, abrasion resistant panels, with a laminated structure, created by forming an assembly which consists of laminating a heat-activated resin impregnated paper wear layer, a decorative layer with printed graphics or a wood veneer decorative layer, a medium density (MDF) or high-density (HDF) natural fiber-based core and a resin impregnated paper balancing layer. To achieve sound absorbing and/or attenuating properties, any or all paper layers may be pre coated with an additional flexible elastomeric coating, film or material prior to assembly of the panel, or the natural fiber core panel may be coated with a flexible elastomeric coating, film or material prior to assembly with the papers. The flexible elastomeric coating, film or material acts to absorb, reduce, and/or ameliorate the sound transmissions inherent in laminated panels.
METHODS OF PRODUCING FOAM STRUCTURES FROM RECYCLED METALLIZED POLYOLEFIN MATERIAL
A physically crosslinked, closed cell continuous foam structure derived from recycled metallized polyolefin material; polypropylene, polyethylene, or combinations thereof, a crosslinking agent, and a chemical blowing agent is obtained. The foam structure is obtained by extruding a structure comprising a foam composition, irradiating the extruded structure with ionizing radiation, and continuously foaming the irradiated structure.
Process for producing panels with footfall and ambient sound deadening
A panel has an upper side facing the room in the use position and a lower side facing the floor. The lower side is coated, at least in sections, with a bonding layer composed of polymer. The bonding layer has an uneven surface on the outer side facing away from the panel, and has been coated at least in sections with a damping layer composed of polymer. A covering composed of panels, a process and an apparatus for producing the panels are also described.
