Cover member and end cap for wall guard and corner guard
Embodiments of the invention provide a corner guard and a wall guard, and a method of installing the corner guard and a wall guard that reduces the installation time and provides an improved aesthetic appearance. A corner guard and a wall guard each includes an elongated cover member that is terminated at one end, or both ends, by an end cap. The end cap is sonically welded or otherwise adhered directly to the cover member rather than being attached separately to an underlying base member. The cover member with end cap can then be slid on or snapped onto the underlying base member together.
JOINT SUPPORT INCLUDING ENCAPSULATED ADHESIVE
The present disclosure relates generally to building surface joint supports, for example, suitable for covering a seam between two building surface panels, such as drywall. The present disclosure relates more particularly to a joint support including an encapsulated adhesive for securing the joint support to the building surface panels. The joint support includes a support strip having a width, a length, a first end, a second end, a contact surface, and an outer surface. An adhesive is disposed on the contact surface of the support strip. The adhesive includes a first set of capsules and each capsule of the first set of capsules includes a membrane enclosing a first component of an adhesive composition.
CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS
A construction element is provided for forming a corner of a surface of a building, the surface including wall panels attached to framing studs. The construction element includes: a corner-forming surface that that is shaped to extend, in a cross-sectional view, between two separate wall panels, such that ends of the corner-forming surface, as viewed in the cross-sectional view, substantially match respective corners of the wall panels; and a fastener strip that, in a state in which the corner-forming surface is in its installed position with respect to the framing studs, is substantially parallel to one or more of the framing studs, such that a fastener can attach the fastener strip to one or more of the studs without passing through the wall panel.
Adjustable garage door pest barrier
An adjustable barrier for use with a building having a door frame with a door frame opening, a track assembly, and a garage door positioned between the track assembly to selectively cover the door frame opening, the adjustable barrier comprising a barrier bracket and an extendable barrier panel. The adjustable barrier is adapted to seal off a garage door gap located between the garage door and the door frame, and is positioned between the door frame and the track to create a barrier preventing a pest from bypassing the garage door and entering the building through the garage door gap. The extendable barrier panel selectively extends and retracts to adjust to the distance between the track and the door frame, and may further be tapered to allow the adjustable barrier to maintain contact with the track when the track curves away from the door frame.

STRUCTURE EDGE PROTECTION DEVICE HAVING DAMPING ROLLERS
A structure edge protection device having damping rollers of the present invention includes: a frame that can be fastened to an edge of a structure such as a wall or a column; a plurality of rotary rollers that is made of synthetic resin and can rotate on the structure in a movement direction of a impacting object such as a vehicle or freight that is being carried; rotary shafts that support the rotary rollers and are inserted in the rotary rollers for smooth rotation of the rotary rollers; elastic members that can absorb shock that is applied to the structure and the impacting object by contracting and stretching when the impacting object collides with the structure; a sensor unit that can sound an alarm by sensing approach of an object; and connection straps that can strongly fasten a plurality of frame units by being fastened through the frame units.
Temporary corner guard
It is the object of the present invention to improve the stability of temporary corner guards. The Improved Temporary Corner Guard achieves enhanced stability through strategic selection of total device mass, mass distribution, and frictional properties of the selected materials. The Improved Temporary Corner Guard has a total device mass that is higher than commercially available corner guards. The device mass is strategically distributed, with the bulk of the weight residing in the base portion of the device. The device may also employ materials or coatings that have a higher coefficient of friction when placed against the outside corners, which would further enhance the ability to resist being upset if a lateral force is applied during use.
MAGNETIC CORNER GUARD FOR CORNER JUNCTIONS
A portable corner guard for walls includes a first vertical wall and a second vertical wall positioned substantially orthogonal to the first vertical wall. A junction of the first vertical wall and the second vertical wall forms a bullnose corner. A horizontal base extends from a lower edge of the first vertical wall and the second vertical wall. At least one magnetic element is positioned on each of the first vertical wall and the second vertical wall.
