CORRELATING INTERACTION EFFECTIVENESS TO CONTACT TIME USING SMART FLOOR TILES
A method for correlating interaction effectiveness to contact time, the method including receiving first data pertaining to one or more first time and location events caused by a first object in a physical space, wherein the one or more first time and location events comprise one or more first times and one or more first locations of the first object in the physical space; receiving second data pertaining to one or more second time and location events caused by a second object in the physical space, wherein the one or more second time and location events comprise one or more second times and one or more second locations of the second object in the physical space; determining a interaction time between the first object and the second object; receiving interaction effectiveness data; and generating a time-effectiveness data point by associating the interaction effectiveness data with the interaction time.
MODIFYING CARE PLANS BASED ON DATA OBTAINED FROM SMART FLOOR TILES AND PUBLISHING RESULTS
In one embodiment, a method for measuring an effectiveness of an intervention is disclosed. The method includes receiving first data pertaining to a gait of a person from a smart floor tile, determining, based on the first data, whether a propensity for a fall event for the person satisfies a threshold propensity condition based on (i) an amount of gait deterioration satisfying a threshold deterioration condition, or (ii) the amount of gait deterioration satisfying the threshold deterioration condition within a threshold time period. The method includes, responsive to determining the propensity satisfies the threshold propensity condition, performing an intervention based on at least the propensity. The method may include receiving second data pertaining to the gait of the person from the smart floor tile. The method may include determining an effectiveness of the intervention based on the second data.
PATH ANALYTICS OF DISEASE VECTORS IN A PHYSICAL SPACE USING SMART FLOOR TILES
A method for tracking potential disease spread in a physical space is disclosed. The method includes receiving, at a first time in the time series from a device in the physical space, first data pertaining to a first initiation event of a first path of a first living creature in the physical space; receiving, at a second time in the time series from smart floor tiles in the physical space, second data pertaining to a first time and location event caused by the first living creature in the physical space, wherein the first time and location event comprises a first initial location of the first living creature in the physical space; and correlating, the first initiation event and the first initial location to generate a first starting point comprising a first starting time and first starting location of a first path of the first living creature in the physical space.
NEUROLOGICAL AND OTHER MEDICAL DIAGNOSIS FROM PATH DATA
Disclosed herein is a method for analyzing a path traversed by a person within a physical space. The method comprises: receiving, from a plurality of smart floor tiles in the physical space, data associated with the path traversed by the person, wherein the plurality of smart floor tiles comprise a plurality of sensing devices capable of sensing pressure at a plurality of locations in the physical space; identifying, based on the pressure sensed by the plurality of sensing devices of the smart floor tiles, a pattern in the path traversed by the person in the physical space; determining, based on the pattern, the person has a potential medical condition; and in response to determining the potential medical condition for the person, performing a preventative action.
Cove base with channel for sealant
A wall base for sealing a gap between a wall and a floor is provided. The wall base comprises a base member configured to extend along a portion of the wall. A shoe protrusion extends at an angle from the base member and is configured to extend towards the floor and away from the wall. A heel portion extends from the shoe protrusion and is configured to contact the floor. A channel configured to receive the sealant is defined by the space between the heel portion and the shoe protrusion.
MODULAR STRUCTURE AND METHOD OF ASSEMBLY
Disclosed is a system and method of constructing modular homes, which are assembled from a numbered of prefabricated components and delivered as finished goods using standard containers. The modular design further provides for a self-sufficient structure where the three main engineering systems, namely, plumbing, electrical and HVAC, are completely integrated allowing the structure to maximize energy usage efficiencies. Emphasis is placed on using only environmentally friendly materials and on recycle or multi-purposing components into energy or resource gathering and production. Another emphasis is placed on speed of assembly using standardized structures that streamline on the job assembly processes.
CABLE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
A cable management system includes a mounting bracket configured for mounting to a wall surface and a detached snap-on type cover member. The mounting bracket includes vertically spaced support ledges for supporting one or more cables in multiple regions of the bracket. The bracket and cover member include mating connection element protrusions which become mutually engaged to snap fit the cover to the bracket in a readily removable manner to access the cable runs. The cables are fully concealed by the cover member. In one embodiment, the bracket and cover member are configured to simulate baseboard molding in appearance and are mounted at the bottom of the wall at the interface with the floor. Coupler members complementary configured to match the profile of the cover members may be detachably coupled thereto to bridge joints or gaps between adjacent sections of cover members.
PATH ANALYTICS OF PEOPLE IN A PHYSICAL SPACE USING SMART FLOOR TILES
In some embodiments, a method is disclosed for analyzing a path of an object over a time series in a physical space. The method includes receiving, at a first time in the time series from a device in the physical space, first data pertaining to an initiation event of the path of the object in the physical space. The method also includes receiving, at a second time in the time series from one or more smart floor tiles in the physical space, second data pertaining to a location event caused by the object in the physical space. The location event includes an initial location of the object in the physical space. The method also includes correlating, via a processing device, the initiation event and the initial location to generate a starting point of the path of the object in the physical space.
Connected moulding for use in smart building control
In some embodiments, a system includes a set of moulding sections, at least one electrical conductor affixed at least partially within one or more of the set of moulding sections, and one or more joints between various ones of the set of moulding sections. At least some of the one or more joints are arranged to preserve electrical conductivity, via the at least one electrical conductor, between the various ones of the set of moulding sections.
System and Method for Securing Power and Communications Cables and Associated Hardware Within Crown Molding
A system for crown molding that enables safely incorporating electrical and communications cabling within crown molding by creating one or more protected paths which inherently prevent overly sharp bends in crown molding corners and by mitigating damage from penetrating punctures through a decorated face designed to fracture when improperly penetrated by a screw or nail, and enables the secure installation of hardware either concealed within the molding or securely and favorably positioned through the decorative face to view or sense a room, and enables additional cable capacity that is concealed within a light reflector to increase lighting efficacy as well as power and data delivery capacity.
