Trim product and methods of manufacturing
A flexible inside corner trim piece is formed with concave depressions at hinge portions where wings attach to the body. The trim piece can be formed such that wings and a top cap lay flat in plane perpendicular to body or wings and top cap curve at an angle. Hinge portions can be narrow or wide and symmetrical or asymmetrical. The trim piece can be dyed, paintable, or present another decorative surface. The trim piece can include embedded lighting.

A method for determining an edge profile of a custom decorative article to be installed in an installation area is disclosed, the installation area having a perimeter having a plurality of corners. A computing device receives data indicative of a plurality of coordinates corresponding to the plurality of corners of the perimeter of the installation area. Based on at least first, second, and third coordinates respectively corresponding to first, second, and third corners of the plurality of corners of the perimeter of the installation area, the computing device determines dimensional and/or geometric characteristics of a pair of opposed portions of the edge profile that, in an installed position, are configured to meet to form a corner of the custom decorative article when installed at the second corner of the perimeter of the installation area.
Molding structure
A molding structure and associated method includes a baseboard and a seal. The baseboard has a front surface, a back surface opposite the front surface, and a bottom surface extending between the front and back surfaces, the back surface configured to be mounted against a wall, the bottom surface configured to be positioned spaced apart from a floor adjoining the wall. The seal is mounted on the bottom surface of the baseboard and configured so that, when the molding structure is installed at a wall, the seal is compressed between the baseboard and a floor. The baseboard can include a channel along the bottom surface of the baseboard, and the seal can include a flange receivable in the channel to mount the seal to the baseboard. When the molding structure is installed, the baseboard can be separated from the floor and the seal can prevent flow of air between the baseboard and the floor.
Coving installation device
A coving installation device includes a unitary structure having a first magnetic face, a second magnetic face, and a third magnetic face. The second face is joined with the first face by an arced side. The third face is joined with the second face by a linear side. The third face is joined with the first face by an angled side. The second face is perpendicular to the first face and the third face is perpendicular to the second face. The first, second, and third faces protrude from the arced, linear, and angled sides. A clean room installer using the coving installation device can independently install coving without assistance.
