Securement devices for securing molding to a surface, and methods of securing molding to a surface
This disclosure includes a securement device for securing molding to a surface. The securement device has a base attached to a surface. A stem extends from the base and has a top portion opposite from the base. A pair of flexible curved structures extends laterally from opposite sides of the stem toward the base.
Skirting Board and an Improved Method for Manufacturing a Skirting Board or Finishing Profiled Section
The present invention relates, on the one hand, to a skirting board for a wall of a space or finishing profiled section for floor covering, comprising a body composed of at least a carrier material and a decorative top layer, in which said body comprises a longitudinal part which forms at least a part of the front side of the skirting board or the finishing profiled section, and a top part which forms at least a part of the top side of the skirting board or the finishing profiled section, in which the transition (1 1) between the longitudinal part and the top part has a curved configuration, in which, at the location of said transition, some of the carrier material has been replaced by a filler having a different composition than the carrier material, and that the decorative top layer (2) is continuous at the location of the transition (1 1). On the other hand, the present invention relates to a method for manufacturing such a skirting board.
Trim product and methods of manufacturing
A flexible inside corner trim piece is formed with concave depressions at hinge portions where wings attach to the body. The trim piece can be formed such that wings and a top cap lay flat in plane perpendicular to body or wings and top cap curve at an angle. Hinge portions can be narrow or wide and symmetrical or asymmetrical. The trim piece can be dyed, paintable, or present another decorative surface. The trim piece can include embedded lighting.
MODULAR CONSTRUCTION SYSTEMS
A modular construction system includes a top molding member; a bottom molding member; and at least one stanchion spacing the top molding member from the bottom molding member, the stanchion being removably attached to the top and bottom molding member. Other construction systems include removable panels that are coupled with frame pieces to collectively form a stair rail system, molding systems, backsplash systems, and other building components.
System and method for installation of molding
A system for installing pre-painted moldings. The system includes pre-painted moldings each configured to be fastened to a wall by fasteners. The system also includes a caulk material, filler material, concealer material, and touchup paint each color matched to the paint color applied to the moldings. The caulk material is configured to fill a gap defined between each of the moldings and the wall to which the molding is fastened. The filler material is configured to fill a gap defined between any abutting portions of the moldings. The concealer material is configured to conceal any surface disturbances caused by the installation of the fasteners. The touchup paint is configured to adhere to the paint pre-painted on the moldings. The system may also include a marker configured to apply a coating color matched to the paint applied to the moldings, a scraping tool, and/or a buffing tool.
FLEXIBLE CORNER TRIM PRODUCT
A trim piece for sealing a work surface including a body having a first side, a second side, and a span disposed between the first side and the second side, wherein the first side and the second side are joined at a junction defining an angle between the first side and the second side of between 80 degrees and 100 degrees, a topcap is affixed to the span of the body, wherein the topcap includes a left side having a first wing and a right side having a second wing, an adhesive is bonded to the first side of the body and an aperture is disposed within the body.
Molding system and method of installing molding system
A molding system comprising a decorative portion and a mounting flange for mounting the decorative portion directly to at least one wall stud. The decorative portion comprises a proximal portion, a distal portion, and a decorative front surface. The mounting flange comprises a proximal portion, the proximal portion being coupled to the distal portion of the decorative portion such that the mounting flange extends away from the decorative portion and a distal portion. The mounting flange has a longitudinal axis that is parallel to the longitudinal axis of the at least one wall stud and a thickness from about inches to about 2 inches. The distal portion of the first mounting flange abuts at least one sheet of drywall. The mounting flange does not substantially overlap the at least one sheet of drywall, and the at least one sheet of drywall does not substantially overlap the mounting flange.
Inside corner trim product
A flexible inside corner trim piece is formed with concave depressions at hinge portions where wings attach to the body. The trim piece can be formed such that wings and a top cap lay flat in plane perpendicular to body or wings and top cap curve at an angle. Hinge portions can be narrow or wide and symmetrical or asymmetrical. The trim piece can be dyed, paintable, or present another decorative surface. The trim piece can include embedded lighting.
SKIRTING BOARD, DECORATIVE SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A SKIRTING BOARD
A skirting board has a core with an upper side, an opposed lower side and a front side and back side situated opposite to each other and extending between the lower side and the upper side, and a plate-shaped material attached to the core and covering at least the front side. The plate-shaped material, seen from the upper side of the core, extends to beyond the lower side of the core.
Crown moulding system
A crown molding system includes at least one first member that may be coupled to a horizontal support surface. At least one second member is provided. The at least one second member may be coupled to the vertical support surface. A panel is removably coupled between the at least one first member and the at least one second member. Thus, the at least one first member, the at least one second member and the panel may present the appearance of crown molding. At least one line is provided. The at least one line is positioned behind the panel such that the at least one line may be concealed.
