In one embodiment, a system comprises a first baseboard element, a second baseboard element, and a spline configured to couple with the first baseboard element and the second baseboard element. In another embodiment, a system comprises a first crown element, a second crown element, and a spline configured to couple with the first crown element and the second crown element. In another embodiment, a system comprises a crown spline, a baseboard spline, and a wall element configured to be coupled with the crown spline and the baseboard spline. Other embodiments are disclosed herein.
Magnetic decorative trim with DC power transmission
A decorative interior trim piece is provided for use in a low voltage power transmission system, and includes an outer, decorative surface, an opposite inner surface facing a substrate, a first end surface and an opposite second end surface. At least one conductive element extends from the first end surface to said second end surface on the inner surface. Each conductive element has a connector surface at each of the first end and second ends. At least one magnetic fastener is secured to the inner surface for releasably attaching the trim piece to the substrate. A complementary low voltage power transmission system is also disclosed.
Coated baseboard for sports floor
A baseboard for covering an expansion gap at an intersection of a vertical wall and a floor. The baseboard includes a substantially L-shaped body formed of a thermoplastic material and having a toe portion and a wall portion. The toe portion has a front side and a back side, and the wall portion has a front side, a back side, an upper end, and a lower end. The back side of the wall portion is provided with a plurality of spaced-apart ventilation channels extending entirely across the wall portion from the upper end of the wall portion to the lower end thereof to permit air-flow to and from the floor gap. At least the front side of the toe portion and the front side of the wall portion is coated with a flexible coating.
Lower edge finish for drywall
A wall assembly and a lower edge finish for a drywall. The wall assembly comprises a stud wall forming a support frame, a lower edge finish installed on the bottom of the stud wall, and a drywall sheet having a lower edge in the channel with its weight supported by the base secured to the stud wall. The lower edge finish has a channel formed from a first sidewall and a second sidewall receiving a drywall sheet, and a base underneath the channel supports the drywall sheet above a surface. The second sidewall and the base are surface mounted on the stud wall.
BUILDING SKIRTING BASE
A mobile home skirting base comprising: a horizontal surface; and two substantially equal, substantially symmetrical vertical surfaces co-extruded with the horizontal surface forming a channel to insert a mobile home skirting panel wherein the vertical surfaces each having an inwardly oriented retention edge that secure the mobile home skirting panel. The height of the vertical surfaces and the inward orientation of the vertical surfaces' retention edges, along with the other aspects of the invention, allows the mobile home skirting base to provide strong support, stabilization, and protection of the skirting panels.
Wall skirting for floor coverings and method of manufacturing a wall skirting
Factory-prefabricated wall skirting for floor coverings made of plastic, PVC, rubber, linoleum or similar materials, for manufacturing a moisture-proof wall closure, wherein the floor-side wall skirting is produced from a strip cutting of the floor covering and comprises a bending area, about which the strip cutting is bent, wherein in the convex bending area of the strip cutting the material is partially removed and replaced by a filling material.
Systems and methods for coving a faceted room
The present disclosure describes novel systems and methods for converting a faceted room with into a cyclorama. Four system embodiments, EMB1, EMB2, EMB3, and EMB4, are disclosed and have several common elements, including a corner coving piece (CCP) and a bridging coving piece (BCP). EMB1 and EMB2 further comprise elements that collectively facilitate the alignment of adjoining pieces to form a seamless topology. EMB3 is a more basic embodiment that trades some alignment provisions for improved manufacturing simplicity and lower cost. EMB4 is distinguished by an embodiment where the main system elements can be fabricated from readily available materials by a non-expert using basic household tools; a method is disclosed herein to describe the construction steps as part of the overall process of converting a faceted room into a cyclorama. The two final disclosed methods guide the use of EMB1 or EMB2 for coving.
MODULAR CURBS
Provided herein are protective mold devices for the protection of structural surfaces, equipment, machinery, and users thereof. In particular, mold devices for securing to a structural surface (e.g., wall, divider, door opening frame, etc.) are provided that form a cavity between the structural surface and the mold for impregnation with a filler material.
