"h" Channel Member For Use In Siding Renovations
An improved J channel is provided for use when renovating or otherwise altering existing siding clad buildings, being designed with a profile resembling “h” so as to allow simplified installation and reduced labor by allowing for installation without the removal of siding panels beyond the area of the alteration.
FLASHING APPARATUS OR DRIP CAP WATER MANAGEMENT DEVICE AND SYSTEM
An improved flashing system and apparatus. A flashing apparatus or drip cap is attached to the back side or an edge of a panel or board, and has a short angled front section and edge extending over the front side of the panel or board. The flashing apparatus or drip cap may comprise a single piece of metal, or other suitable materials, including but not limited to plastic, formed by folding or by stamping or molding. The back of the drip cap has a first back section extending over the back side of an adjacent panel or board, and also may have a second back section extending over the back side of the panel or board. The flashing apparatus or drip cap may be attached by glue or other adhesive means. The second back section, if present, may be attached to the back of the panel or board by fastening means known in the art, such as, but not limited to, staples or nails that penetrate only the lower section and the back of the panel or board. The flashing apparatus or drip cap prevents water and moisture from penetrating behind the panel or board after installation.
FINISHING ACCESSORY WITH BACKING STRIP
A framing accessory includes a bead and a backing strip. The bead may comprise a first leg, a second leg, and a lip. The second leg may comprise a plurality of openings. The strip may be attached to the upper surface of the first leg. In some embodiments, the strip may comprise a single layer of material, while in other embodiments, the strip may comprise two or more layers of material. The strip may comprise material having fire resistant, intumescent, and/or sound insulating properties. The finishing accessory may be configured to be installed in a gap at a head of wall joint by positioning the first leg and strip along the top edge of a wallboard panel and the second leg extending vertically downward along the outer surface of the wallboard panel.
Wall paneling system
The present invention provides a wall paneling system that is completely mechanical and does not require the use of adhesives in attaching panels to the walls. The system comprises wall panels having a core with a decorative surface attached to one side and profiled edges that connect to each other by push click, panel connector clips (PCCs) that further connect and secure the interconnecting panels to the walls; and corner moldings for use in paneling adjoining walls meeting at a corner via tongue and groove. The PCCs and corner moldings attach to the walls by mechanical fastening and provide an air space between the walls and the wall panels. Since the wall panels are not directly connected or adhered to the wall, the system allows the panels to be easily replaced by removing and inserting from the PCCs and corner moldings. By using specially adapted bottom seals, seals in the corner moldings and sealant between the panels, the paneling system can be made impermeable to water and is therefore especially useful in area wet areas such as bathrooms.
Modular floating tile, coping and skirting systems for decks and stairs
Coping and skirting systems for structural bases are described herein. The coping and skirting systems include at least one coping tile and a support structure configured to be mounted on a front surface of the structural base and to support the at least one coping tile on the structural base. The support structure is also configured to be mounted on the structural base at a selectable position that provides for a top surface of the coping tile to be level with a top surface of a field tile on the structural base.
Hidden edge for flooring finishing
This application discloses a flooring edge finish that includes a flexible strip having an adhesive affixed to a top surface of the flexible strip and a hinge, wherein the hinge is a gap or an absence of the adhesive or a lower amount of the adhesive, on a portion of the top surface of the flexible strip, and wherein the flooring edge finish is upwardly foldable along the hinge to bind, protect, and conceal a flooring edge.
Cove base with channel for sealant
Wall bases and methods for utilizing the same are provided. A rear surface of the wall base is configured to be secured to an adjacent forward surface of a wall. An extension member extends outward and downward from the base member, and a protrusion extends downward from the extension member. A channel for sealant is defined, at least in part, by the extension member and the protrusion. The protrusion may be separately formed from the extension member and base member.
BELOW TOP OF WALL VENTILATION SCREED DEVICE AND ASSEMBLY
A ventilation screed comprising: an attachment flange having a top portion and a bottom portion; a drip edge protruding from the attachment flange and a return leg that protrudes back from the drip edge, wherein the drip edge is angled downward in a first direction and the return leg is angled downward in a second direction; a drainage cavity protrusion protruding from the attachment flange above the drip edge, wherein the drainage cavity protrusion has an L-shaped drainage trough portion having at least one drainage opening in a bottom portion and a substantially vertical portion with a top end and a bottom end in communication with the bottom portion, an upper ground portion in communication with the top end of the substantially vertical portion of the L-shaped drainage trough portion extending outward from the substantially vertical portion and a drainage cavity shroud extending substantially downward from the upper ground portion.
WEEPING WALL
A weeping wall for receiving a continuous flow of a flowable substance. The weeping wall comprises: a wall body including a substantially vertical wall section having a flow surface; a flowable substance inlet defined at an upper end of the substantially vertical wall section, with the flowable substance continuously flowing therefrom and downwardly onto the flow surface; at least one mobile deflector movably engaged to the flow surface and projecting therefrom, the at least one mobile deflector being selectively movable relative to the flow surface to modify the flow path of the flowable substance on the flow surface; and a flowable substance outlet defined at a lower end of the substantially vertical wall section with the flowable substance flowing continuously therein after running down onto the flow surface.
