TROWEL
The present invention is a trowel having a blade with a rounded side edge, a straight side edge, and a notched edge between the rounded side edge and the straight side edge. The trowel may include a handle disposed opposite the notched edge and substantially parallel to the straight side edge, aligned with the plane of the blade. The blade may be made of a thin or flexible material, allowing the blade to be slightly deformed during use to create a consistent layer of adhesive. The rounded edge may be of a relatively smaller radius, allowing for a wider, shorter blade. In other embodiments, the rounded edge may be of a relatively bigger radius, allowing for a narrower, taller blade. The notched edge may be square notches, v-notches, u-notches, or other notch shapes according to user preference.

Joint Compound Spreading Tool For Drywall Joint Finishing
A hand tool is provided for the application of joint compound on wall board, a planar blade affixed to a handle. The blade has a concave arcuate working edge, wherein the concave arcuate curve extends the entire length of the working edge to each corner of the working edge. The concave arcuate working edge to may be used to apply a self-featured layer joint compound over drywall tape on planar butt joint or an inside corner joint. The blade is laterally flexible.
Tool storage assembly
A tool carrying assembly includes at least one main assembly frame; a base, constructed and arranged to support said main frame; and at least one structure configured for storing a tool on said assembly.
POLE ATTACHMENT FOR A SKIMMING TOOL AND SKIMMING TOOL SYSTEM COMPRISING THE SAME
Pole attachment for a skimming tool and a skimming tool system comprising the same A pole attachment for a skimming tool, comprising a clamp, which comprises a pair of jaws (102) for gripping the skimming tool and a clamping mechanism for applying a clamping force to the jaws (102), wherein the clamping mechanism comprises a pair of wings (106), which extend out beyond opposed transverse edges of the jaws (102) in a width direction of the jaws (102).
Cementitious material surface texturing assembly
A surface texturing assembly includes a cementitious material that can be applied to an exposed surface for enhancing the ornamental appearance of the exposed surface. A swirling tool is provided and the swirling tool is manipulated to engage the cementitious material when the cementitious material is wet. The swirling tool has a pair of spaced members that each sinks into the cementitious material when the swirling tool is manipulated to engage the cementitious material. Moreover, the swirling tool is rotatable such that each of the spaced members travels in an arc to form a respective one of a pair of swirling arcs in the cementitious material. In this way the swirling tool is movable along an entirety of the exposed surface for shaping the cementitious material into a plurality of swirling, intersecting arcs.
ELECTRONIC TROWEL
Electronic trowels, systems and methods of applying a layer of material using the present electronic trowels. The various electronic trowels include a handle, at least one blade, and one or more sensors residing on or within the trowel. The trowel is for applying a layer of material over a surface area, whereby the one or more sensors detect and collect material installation data during application of the layer of material over the surface area. One or more electronic devices coupled to the one or more sensors receive and analyze the collected installation data for monitoring and controlling the application of the layer of material to ensure a desired end product is achieved. Application errors may be detected before, during, or after the installation process.
BLADED TOOL WITH ADJUSTABLE VEE ANGLE
A tool having two adjacent blades, for working fluent materials such as cement, plaster, and epoxies in corners and other angled areas, is shown and described. Each blade is angularly adjustable with respect to an included angle defined between the two blades. The tool may have right and left blade portions pivotal along abutting or adjacent edges, and a linkage including a releasable clamp to establish and secure desired working angles between the right and left blade portions. The tool has two pivot axles, one for supporting each of the right and left blade portions.
INSTRUMENT FOR MEASURING THE FORCE FOR SPREADING A PASTE
An instrument for determining the spreading capacity of a coating or a surface, including a plate on which a gripping system is secured, the tool including a measuring system configured to measure the coating to be spread, wherein the measuring system includes at least one force sensor for generating data relating to the average force applied on the instrument, the maximum force applied on the instrument and the duration, in order to provide a signal representative of the capacity of the coating to be spread or the surface to be spread.
JOINT FORMATION IN CEMENT-BASED STRUCTURES
A joint-forming system includes a first smoothing plate, a second smoothing plate coupled with the first smoothing plate so as to form an interior angle and an exterior angle therewith, a first bracket extending between the first smoothing plate and the second smoothing plate so as to span a portion of the interior angle, a second bracket extending between the first smoothing plate and the second smoothing plate so as to span a portion of the interior angle. A handle extends between the first bracket and the second bracket. One or more blades are configured to extend along the exterior angle at a crest thereof.
