BUILDING PANEL
Building panels, such as a floor panels or wall panels. The panels include a first mechanical locking system at respective parallel and opposite third and fourth edges, such as long edges, configured to cooperate for horizontal and vertical locking between two adjacent building panels, preferably by means of a folding motion. The panels further include a second locking system at respective parallel and opposite first and second edges, such as short edges, configured to cooperate for horizontal and vertical locking of two adjacent building panels. An upper edge portion of one of the third edge or fourth edge, preferably the third edge, includes a first lower lip portion configured to cooperate with a first upper lip portion of an upper edge portion of the other of the third and fourth edge of an adjacent panel when the third and fourth edges are arranged in locking engagement.
Floor element for forming a floor covering and a floor covering
A floor element for forming a floor covering, wherein the floor element comprises a decorative layer made of a ceramic material; a support layer arranged below the decorative layer; and a reinforcing layer arranged in between the decorative layer and the support layer, wherein the support layer comprises edges provided with coupling elements configured to realize a mechanical coupling with coupling elements of an adjacent floor element.
JOINT FOR STRIP FLOORS
A joint for floors that are provided by way of a series of strips, constituted by a single linear bar which is constituted by a central planar body from which a first tab and a second tab, which are elastically deformable, protrude laterally.
The first tab and the second tab are selectively associable at adapted seats provided in a lower region and longitudinally with respect to the strips and adjacent to the longitudinal perimetric edges thereof.
Each one of the first tab and the second tab has a first portion, substantially arc-shaped, meant for blending with the planar body, which protrudes toward the outside of the planar body, a second portion, contiguous and blended with the respective first portion, protruding and directed toward the inside of the planar body, and a third portion, contiguous and blended with the second portion, which protrudes toward the outside of the planar body.
FLOOR PANEL AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING FLOOR PANELS
A floor panel has a substrate and a decorative layer of wood veneer provided thereon having a thickness of 1 millimeter or less. The substrate has an average density of more than 750 kilograms per cubic meter. The floor panel is rectangular and oblong and comprises a pair of opposite short edges and a pair of opposite long edges. The floor panel, on at least said two opposite long edges, is provided with coupling means allowing that two of such floor panels can be coupled to each other in a vertical direction perpendicular to the plane of the coupled panels and in a horizontal direction in this plane and perpendicular to the respective edge. The wood veneer and/or the substrate immediately underneath the wood veneer is treated at least at the short edges with a fluoro copolymer or a polymeric methylene diphenyl diisocyanate.
Method of manufacturing a timber composite, the timber composite obtained and decorative panels comprising such timber composite
A decorative panel including a substrate material and a decorative top layer. The decorative top layer is formed by at least one timber layer penetrated with a cured adhesive, and the timber layer has a wood structure with collapsed vessels having opposed walls, the opposed walls being glued together permanently by the cured adhesive.
Mechanical connection for panels
A mechanical connection connects panels edge sides to one another. Adjacent first and second panels can be locked in the horizontal and vertical direction by a substantially perpendicular joining movement. For vertical locking, a locking edge is arranged on the first panel and a locking element that can be displaced relative to the panels is arranged on the second panel. The locking element can be displaced behind the locking edge by a pivoting movement. A locking projection for displacing behind the locking edge and an arcuate guide arm guided in a guide groove of the second panel are designed to be partially withdrawn from the guide groove with a rotary or pivoting movement of the locking element by a leg. The leg projects from the guide groove of the locking element coming into contact with the first panel when being set down in a region below the locking edge.
Set of mutually lockable panels
A set of mutually lockable panels comprises a first panel having an edge including a male part and a second panel having an edge including a female part for receiving the male part of the first panel in unlocked condition of the panels. The male part has an outer side which, in locked condition of the panels, is directed to the second panel in a direction substantially parallel to the front face of the first panel, and an opposite inner side which is provided with a locking surface. The female part comprises a locking member, which is pivotable about a pivot axis that extends substantially parallel to the edge of the second panel and an actuator for rotating the locking member from its unlocked condition to a locked condition of the panels.
Set of floor panels and method for installing this set of floor panels
A set of floor panels includes floor panels that are oblong rectangular and have a pair of long edges and a pair of short edges. The long and the short edges are provided with mechanical coupling parts, which allow coupling the floor panels of the set to each other such that a herringbone pattern can be realized herewith.
Method and device for inserting a tongue
A method and device for managing and separating a tongue from a tongue blank, including cutting a first edge of a tongue from the tongue blank by rotating a tool which includes a protruding part, and displacing the tongue by the protruding part to a tongue queue. The method and device may include a second tool for cutting a second edge of the tongue from the tongue blank.
COATED PANEL, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THEREOF AND MILLING TOOL APPLIED THEREWITH
A coated panel with a substrate and a decorative top layer, such that the decorative top layer includes a print and a transparent wearing layer applied thereon. The panel has a lowered edge region at least on one edge. Both the aforementioned print and the aforementioned wearing layer extend continuously from on the central area of the panel over the aforementioned lowered edge region. The aforementioned wearing layer has a lower degree of gloss at the location of the lowered edge region than on the central area of the aforementioned coated panel and/or has a degree of gloss of 10 or less measured according to DIN 67530. A method for manufacturing is provided for the coated panel and to a milling tool applied therewith.
