The present invention relates to a fitting system to be used to connect floor modules, such as the fitting method and disengaging method. The system comprises two elements, a female element (1) and a male element (2), connected to floor modules and interconnecting to each other. The female element (1) comprises a body of the female, at least one ramp (1.3) and at least one tongue (1.4), resting on the plate of the female (1.2). The male element (2) comprises a body of the male (2.1) and a fitting element comprising a plate of the male (2.2.1), sidewalls (2.2.2), a rim (2.2.5), at least one groove (2.2.4) delimited by groove walls, and at least one slider. The system features double locking, which prevents the elements from making movements in any vertical or horizontal direction.
