The disclosure relates to a set consisting of two panels for cladding a surface and of a panel connection element for connecting the two panels, wherein: two mutually opposing panel side faces have mutually complementary coupling elements in the form of an upper coupling element and a lower coupling element; the lower coupling element has a groove; the panel connection element has a first part and a second part which is coupled to the first part via a connection piece; the first part is introduced into the groove when the two panels are in the coupled state; the second part is pivotable about the connection piece relative to the first part; the second part comprises an upper portion, which has a latching element, and a lower portion, which has a lever, and the latching element has a bulge at the distal end; the locking element has a contact face which bears against the lever when the two panels are in the coupled state; the locking element has a latching receptacle which is complementary to the latching element and into which the bulge of the latching element engages when the two panels are in the coupled state. In this way, a set consisting of two panels and a panel connection element is provided which allows particularly fast and simple connection of the two panels via the panel connection element.
BUILDILNG PANEL WITH A MECHANICAL LOCKING SYSTEM
A set of essentially identical panels, such as building panels, provided with a mechanical locking system including a displaceable tongue, which is arranged in a displacement groove with a first opening at a first edge of a first panel. The displaceable tongue is configured to cooperate with a first tongue groove, with a second opening at a second edge of an adjacent second panel, for vertical locking of the first and the second edge. The height of the first opening is greater than a second height of the second opening.

A floor panel has a substrate and a decorative layer of wood veneer provided thereon having a thickness of 1 millimeter or less. The substrate has an average density of more than 750 kilograms per cubic meter. The floor panel is rectangular and oblong and comprises a pair of opposite short edges and a pair of opposite long edges. The floor panel, on at least said two opposite long edges, is provided with coupling means allowing that two of such floor panels can be coupled to each other in a vertical direction perpendicular to the plane of the coupled panels and in a horizontal direction in this plane and perpendicular to the respective edge. The wood veneer and/or the substrate immediately underneath the wood veneer is treated at least at the short edges with a fluoro copolymer or a polymeric methylene diphenyl diisocyanate.
Floor panel for forming a floor covering, floor covering formed of such floor panels, and method for manufacturing such floor panels
A floor panel for forming a floor covering includes coupling parts on at least one pair of opposite arranged to allow that two of such floor panels can be joined by means of a downward movement (M) of one floor panel in respect to the other floor panel. The coupling parts allow a locking in a first direction perpendicular to the plane of the floor panels as well as in a second direction perpendicular to the respective edge and in the plane of the floor panels. A longitudinal recess located on at least one of the edges is present underneath the upper surface with a locking element. The shape and/or the position of the recess and/or the configuration of the coupling parts is such that deformations are avoided.
