Turnbuckle-style support strut with tunable stiffness
A turnbuckle-style support strut with tunable stiffness, wherein the turnbuckle-style support strut uses opposing stacks comprised of one or more Belleville spring washers to provide the tunable stiffness to support a given application.
COMPRESSION POST WITH RETAINER CLIP
A retainer clip for a compression post includes a retainer body defining a first lateral body end, a second lateral body end opposite the first lateral end, a retainer opening formed through the retainer body and positioned between the first and second lateral body ends, and a retainer tab extending into the retainer opening; and a substantially J-shaped ledge grip extending from the first lateral body end, the ledge grip defining a curved portion and a planar portion, the curved portion coupled to the first lateral body end, the planar portion extending from the curved portion distal to the first lateral body end, the planar portion extending beneath the retainer body.
COMPRESSION POST WITH VISUAL INDICATION SYSTEM
An indicator for a compression post includes a leg defining an upper end and a lower end, the lower end configured to engage a support plate of the compression post; and an indicator bracket comprising a central portion coupled to the leg at the upper end and an indication portion oriented distal to the leg, the central portion defining a bend extending away from the leg such that the indication portion is laterally offset from the leg, the indicator defining a first visual indicator configured to indicate that the compression post is in either a compressed configuration or an uncompressed configuration.
Force and inclination monitoring system with self-position recognition
The present invention relates to a sensor device, system, and monitoring system for monitoring force and inclination of load supporting members, such as temporary support props. The sensor devices include a tubular member that interface with and slidably/detachably attached to the temporary support props, and sensors on the tubular member for measuring force, inclination and position of the temporary support props for construction and demolition work. The sensor device includes a controller for processing data from the sensors. The sensor system includes a wireless device that communicates with the sensor device. The sensor system further comprises positioning device, such that precise location or position of the sensor devices may be detected/calculated by the sensor system. The monitoring system includes a server that communicates one or more sensor systems to form a network.
Telescopic edge protection post
A telescopic edge protection post arrangeable between a floor and a ceiling, wherein the telescopic edge protection post comprises an outer tube having a floor end and a top end, and an inner tube having a bottom end and a ceiling end. The inner tube extends into the outer tube and is movable with respect thereto between an extended position and a collapsed position. The post further has a locking mechanism arranged to lock the inner tube with respect to the outer tube, and a tensioning device. The locking mechanism comprises a fixed element, which is attached to the outer tube at its top end, and a movable element, which is movable with respect to the fixed element between a locking position in which the movable element engages with the inner tube and the fixed element to prevent the inner tube from being retracted into the outer tube.
Load Bearing Components and Safety Deck of an Integrated Construction System
Various implementations described herein are directed to a load bearing ledger fitting, a modular header beam, a perimeter safety deck, a multi-purpose bearing plate, and a mega-shore bearing plate of an integrated construction system.
SHORING SUPPORT STRUCTURE
A shoring support structure (3) comprising an outer tube (2) having a threaded region (22) with opposing longitudinal slots (16) and an inner tube (4) slidable within the outer tube and having a plurality of pairs of transverse holes (14) at spaced apart intervals. The inner tube and outer tubes terminate in a plate (6) and a pin (10) is receivable through the slots of the outer tube and a pair of transverse holes of the inner tube. A collar (8) is mounted on the threaded region and is rotatable to raise and lower the pin within the slots. The collar includes a driven member (30) such as a bevel gear for mating with a driving member (32) such as a pinion connectable to an actuator (38), actuation of the driving member causing rotation of the driven member to effect rotation of the collar (8) to move the pin.
Fitting Ring
Various implementations described herein are directed to a load bearing ledger fitting, a modular header beam, a perimeter safety deck, a multi-purpose bearing plate, and a mega-shore bearing plate of an integrated construction system.
