Breast pump
A breast pump includes a main body, a diaphragm, a handle, a connecting portion, and a volume reduction portion. The main body includes a hood attaching portion attached to the hood, a bottle attaching portion attached to a bottle for collecting milk, and an internal passage extending between the hood attaching portion and the bottle attaching portion. The diaphragm is attached to the internal passage and is configured to generate negative pressure in the internal passage. The connecting portion connects the diaphragm and the handle and is configured to displace the diaphragm in a lifting direction in accordance with movement of the handle. The volume reduction portion is inserted into the internal passage and is configured to reduce a volume of the internal passage.
METHOD FOR MANAGING BREAST MILK EXPRESSION
A method for managing breast milk expression including providing an expected milk yield over time; expressing milk and measuring the expressed milk yield at a given time; comparing the measured milk yield at the given time with the expected milk yield at the given time and generating an alarm if the measured milk yield is lower than the expected yield.
Breast milk collecting method by stimulating mammary gland of breastfeeder to eject breast milk
A breast milk collecting method by stimulating the mammary gland of a breastfeeder to eject breast milk includes providing an audio-playing device to generate an auditory stimulation, providing a video-playing device to generate a visual stimulation, and providing a breast pump to generate a tactile stimulation and collect the breast milk. In this method, the breast pump is placed on a breast of the breastfeeder, and one or more deformable members of the breast bump is inflated or deflated alternately to touch and press the breast so as to mimic a breastfeeding condition to generate the tactile stimulation, so that the pituitary gland of the breastfeeder can be directly stimulated by the multiple sensory stimulations to secret prolatine or oxytocin, thereby allowing the mammary gland of the breastfeeder to eject the breast milk to be collected by the breast pump and treated collectively.
Breast pump
A breast pump includes a milk bottle, a silica gel bowl, a silica gel flange and a main machine; the silica gel bowl is mounted inside the milk bottle, the side wall of the silica gel bowl is provided with an one-way valve, the silica gel bowl is provided with a milk collecting cavity and a negative pressure cavity, separated by a deformed wall of the silica gel bowl; the peripheral portion of the silica gel flange is tightly connected with the milk bottle, the central portion of the silica gel flange is tightly connected with the silica gel bowl and provided with a through hole communicated with the milk collecting cavity, and the inner wall of the milk bottle and the inner wall of the silica gel flange enclose to form the milk storage cavity; the main machine is arranged on the outside of the milk bottle.
MILK EXPRESSION DEVICE AND METHOD FOR OPERATING THE SAME
Provided is a device (100) for expressing milk from a mammalian breast (102). The device comprises a nipple-enclosing wall (104) for interfacing with a nipple-comprising region (106) of the breast to define a chamber (108) between the nipple-enclosing wall and the nipple-comprising region of the breast in which an underpressure is providable. The chamber is, for example, connectable to an underpressure generator for decreasing a pressure in the chamber. The underpressure may assist milk to be expressed from the breast and/or may assist in retaining the interface between the nipple-enclosing wall and the nipple-comprising region. The device comprises an infrasound source (112) for producing infrasound. The infrasound souce comprises a moveable member (114) whose movement produces infrasound. The moveable member has a first side (114A) facing and in fluid communication with the chamber, and a second side (114B) opposite the first side. The second side is outside the chamber. A fluid connection (116) is provided between the chamber and the second side. The fluid connection may provide pressure equalization between the chamber and the second side of the moveable member so that both the first side and the second side of the moveable member experience the underpressure. The fluid connection is nonetheless configured to control fluid communication between the chamber and the second side of the moveable member during the movement of the moveable member and thus the fluid connection assists to control, e.g. enhance, a varying pressure experienced by the breast that is caused by the movement of the moveable member.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR EXPRESSION OF BREAST MILK
Disclosed herein are improved devices, systems, and methods for the expression and collection of breast milk, such as human breast milk. A breast shield assembly for expression of breast milk may comprise a breast interface and an actuatable assembly interface fluidly coupled with a tube, wherein the breast interface is configured to engage the breast and the actuatable assembly interface is configured to removably couple to an actuatable assembly. The breast shield assembly may comprise an enclosed fluid reservoir extending between the breast interface and the actuatable assembly interface, the fluid reservoir physically separated from the expressed breast milk and filled with a driving fluid comprising a liquid. The breast shield assembly may further comprise a fill port configured to allow addition or removal of the driving fluid to or from the fluid reservoir.
