Leaves and other debris within water are collected into a porous basket by passing a hoop surrounding an opening of the basket through the water, typically while mounted to a tip of a pole. An interface (such as an elbow) and an attachment couple the hoop of the basket to the tip of the pole. The interface and attachment are pivotally attached together. The interface has a leading portion opposite of trailing portion, with the trailing portion coupled to the hoop and the leading portion forward of a hoop plane. The attachment pivotally attaches to the leading portion of the interface. The attachment and pole can pivot through a wide range of angles relative to the interface and the hoop, and facilitate collection of leaves both when the basket is being maneuvered away from a user and toward a user, and without requiring any rotation of the pole.

A pool skimming apparatus includes a net and a pair of elongated poles located either side of the net. The net includes an elongated length that is sized substantially equal to (in some examples) a width of the pool. As such, two users stand either side of the width of the pool, place the net in the pool and walk together from one side of the length of the pool to the other, thereby skimming debris from the pool quickly and easily.

Swimming pool cleaning device including a removable filter device

Swimming pool cleaning apparatus may include a cleaning unit intended to be immersed in a swimming pool and at least one liquid filter circuit between at least one liquid inlet and at least one liquid outlet via a filter chamber removable from the body of the cleaning unit. The filter chamber may include a cover and a filter basket. The cover may include components for fastening the filter basket and locking the filter chamber to the body of the cleaning unit. The locking component may be releasable and, when released, may cause an extraction handle to be deployed from the filter chamber and urged toward a predetermined position.

The present invention relates to a multipurpose tool that is configured to collect seaweed and other debris from the edges of a body of water and from shorelines. The tool has an elongated handle having an ergonomic grip, a head portion, a plurality of tines extending from the head portion, and a removably attached net-like filter. Each tine has an elongated length with a downwardly extending distal portion and is supported by a curved brace, wherein the curved brace extends laterally across the tines for providing mechanical support to the tines. The tines are oriented in a tapered manner having less spacing between the tines near the head portion and more spacing between the tines at the distal end which allows the width of the tines to be larger at the distal end than near the head portion.
