A carriage for handling a vehicle in an automatic parking system includes a frame axially movable along a first longitudinal axis, rotating clamps, each including a pair of counter-rotating arms rotating with respect to a vertical axis orthogonal to both the longitudinal axis and the transverse axis. The carriage includes a transverse-centering unit with transverse pushers, transversely extensible, moving along an axis parallel to the transverse axis and independent of the rotating clamps. In a first retracted position they do not interact with the vehicle wheels. When extended, they come into contact with at least one vehicle wheel. The extensible transverse pushers are on left and right sides of the carriage, and simultaneously move in a symmetrical extension, being operated by a respective motor positioned laterally of the longitudinal axis of the carriage. The extensible transverse pushers include a pantograph for longitudinally aligning the vehicle along the longitudinal axis.

Transferring carriage (100) of vehicles for automatic mechanic parking systems comprising at least a frame (1); means of handling of said carriage (100); and at least a device (13) of centering, raising and keeping up of the wheel (32) of a vehicle, said device (13) comprising at least a couple of clamp elements (17) and at least a movable support (14); each couple of clamp elements (17) being supported by said movable support (14); said movable support (14) being transversally translatable for positioning said clamp elements (17) of a same couple in proximity of a wheel (32) of an axle of a vehicle such that the centering, raising and keeping up of the two wheels (32) of an axle of a vehicle is achieved by means of a single transversal movement towards outside of the carriage of said at least one movable support (14) and of the couple of clamp elements (17) integral therewith.

APPARATUS FOR LEFT AND RIGHT ALIGNMENT OF VEHICLES IN PARKING INSTALLATION
20210054642 · 2021-02-25 ·

The present invention relates to a vehicle left and right alignment device for a parking facility. Provided is a vehicle left and right alignment device for a parking facility which is installed at an entrance of a parking facility to align wheels of an incoming vehicle, the device comprising: a front wheel alignment unit (2, 2) and a rear wheel alignment unit (3) respectively provided on both sides of a central passage part (11) of a frame (1) installed at the entrance of the parking facility. The rear wheel alignment unit (3) comprises: a plurality of rollers (31) extending in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body and arranged in the vehicle width direction to be rotatable; and a driving unit (30) for rotating the rollers (31) to adjust and align the position of a rear wheel of the vehicle positioned on the rollers (31). The present invention solves conventional problems in which durability is decreased due to occurrence of uneven wear caused by uneven loads applied to a moving means or the body of a vehicle is damaged as a vehicle is moved by a moving means in a non-aligned state. As such, the present invention has an effect of safely performing vehicle transfer by means of a moving means and an effect of reducing manufacturing costs by simplifying a structure.

INTELLIGENT VEHICLE TRANSPORT ROBOT FOR SINGLE-LEVEL PARKING LOT HAVING NO DRIVE AISLES
20200340263 · 2020-10-29 · ·

The present invention can provide an intelligent vehicle transport robot for a single-level parking lot, wherein: parking lines for indicating parking locations of respective vehicles are marked on a parking lot formed at a single level; the parking lines are marked in a checkerboard pattern so as to exclude drive aisles for vehicle movements and thus increase the number of vehicles that can be accommodated in parking spaces; and a vehicle transport robot (10) is provided in the parking lot, which performs vehicle parking and retrieval by moving a vehicle above parked vehicles, whereby due to exclusion of drive aisles, the number of vehicles that can be accommodated in parking spaces is increased as compared to a conventional parking lot having the same area, and thus the parking efficiency of the parking lot can be improved.

PARKING ROBOT FOR A TRANSPORTATION VEHICLE AND METHOD FOR OPERATING SUCH A PARKING ROBOT

A parking robot for a transportation vehicle and a method for operating a parking robot. The parking robot has a pair of wheel bearing arms which use a crank element to indirectly mount rotatably about a respective rotation axis. The parking robot autonomously moves from the outside to a receiving position beside a wheel of a wheel axle of the transportation vehicle in which the respective wheel bearing arms are parallel with the wheel axle and one of the wheel bearing arms in a vehicle longitudinal direction is positioned in front of the wheel and the other wheel bearing arm in the vehicle longitudinal direction is positioned behind the wheel. The parking robot raises the wheel of the transportation vehicle by rotating the respective wheel bearing arm about the respective rotation axis in a predefined rotation direction, wherein the respective rotation directions of the respective wheel bearing arms are mutually opposed.
