The lower portion of the hollow structure has a substantially vertical cylindrical outer side wall, and the upper portion of the hollow structure has a conical outer side wall. The conical outer side wall has an outer edge extending from a top edge of the cylindrical side wall to an apex of the upper portion of the structure. The structure also has a recess that opens at the apex and within which one end of an elongate pole can be received.
Ballasted Sign
An apparatus comprises a signpost assembly that includes a sign holder, a signpost that supports the sign holder, and a base for receiving the signpost. The base engages the signpost at two locations along the signpost, thereby ensuring that the signpost is held vertically.
Fence securing device
Disclosed are embodiments of a fence securing device for fixing two fence elements onto one another. The device includes a body with a bottom side for placing the body on a ground, with a top side facing away from the bottom side and with four lateral surfaces. The body includes a mounting with a mounting opening on the top side for receiving complementary mounting elements of the two fence elements. The mounting opening penetrates the body from the top side to the bottom side. At least one supporting section formed on the body as a single piece with at least one supporting surface is arranged on the top side of the body for supporting the fence elements. The supporting surface of the supporting section faces the at least one mounting opening is arranged in parallel and at a distance to a centre axis of the mounting opening.
MODULAR FOUNDATION FOR TOWER WITH EXPANDABLE BASE
A foundation for a tower includes a plurality of ballast holders spaced from each other and a central portion configured to support a tower. The foundation includes a plurality of connecting members, each connecting member configured to attach a ballast holder to the central portion, wherein a length of the plurality of connecting members is determined based upon the load capacity required to retain the tower in a vertical position, wherein when the plurality of ballast holders is connected to the central portion, the central portion is elevated above the plurality of ballast holders, wherein different lengths of the connecting members expands and contracts the footprint of the foundation to match the foundation to the required maximum loading requirements.
CONTAINER ASSEMBLY SYSTEMS AND METHODS AND COMBINATION OF CONTAINER ASSEMBLY AND WEIGHT MATERIAL ASSEMBLY FOR STABILIZING OBJECTS
A weight system comprising a weight material assembly having predetermined dimensions and a container assembly. The weight material assembly comprises weight material comprising at least one of sand and gravel and a weight material bag adapted to contain the weight material. The weight material bag comprises at least a ply of paper material. The container assembly comprises a panel assembly defining an interior chamber, an access opening, and an access flap and a closure system operable in an open configuration and a closed configuration. The interior chamber is sized and dimensioned to accommodate the predetermined dimensions of the weight material assembly. The weight material assembly may be displaced through the access opening and into the interior chamber. With the weight material assembly arranged within the interior chamber, the panel assembly is configured in the closed position and the closure system is operated in the closed configuration.
Mobile Parasol Base, and Assembly of Such a Parasol Base and a Parasol
Patio parasols are well known in which a parasol canopy is mounted to a parasol base to provide shade for a deck, patio, garden, or the like. The invention relates to a mobile parasol base. The invention also relates to an assembly of a parasol base according to the invention and at least one parasol mounted onto said parasol base.
Umbrella Base Capable of Filled with a Counterweight
An umbrella base filled with a counterweight comprises an upper cover having a through hole in the center, a base plate, a sleeve, a ring and a counterweight; wherein, the upper cover is placed on top the base plate forming a chamber; the ring stands vertically inside the chamber separating the upper cover and the base plate; the sleeve has a tubular and receives an umbrella column, and is placed vertically on the center of the top surface of the upper cover and aligns with the ring; and a connecting piece is inserted through the base plate, the ring and the upper cover and connects to the sleeve. Or, the bottom of the sleeve passes through the upper cover and screws onto the ring. The umbrella base in the present invention is simple and reasonable in structure, stable and reliable in use, and low in cost, which can meet both usage and environmental protection requirements. It has an appearance not significantly different from that of parasol bases integrally molded by iron plates, and is worth popularizing.
Portable light stand
A fillable base for a portable light stand, the base including: a hollow structure made from moulded plastics material, the hollow structure having an upper portion and a lower portion with a generally circular footprint.
Canopy leg weighting and merchandising apparatus
A sleeve apparatus for weighting a structure, such as a canopy structure, that can also be used to display items on the structure via the items' attachment to the sleeve apparatus. The sleeve apparatus includes at least an elongated body having first and second ends, a first connector element connected to the first end of the elongated body that is capable of encircling and attaching to a rod member and/or a bar member and a second connector element connected to and extending from the second end of the elongated body that is capable of encircling and attaching to the same or a different rod member and/or bar member.
Ballast tray assembly for a tower structure
