System and method for connecting a square concrete-filled steel tubular column to a reinforced concrete footing
The system and method for connecting a square concrete-filled steel tubular column to a reinforced concrete footing includes a short steel pipe partially embedded in the footing, the pipe having a top end having flanges extending radially therefrom, the top end extending into a cavity in the footing having an elliptical top opening and circular base, the flanges extending above the base. An elliptical base plate is welded to the bottom of the tubular steel column, the base plate having a circular opening defined therein and a plurality of spaced flange slots depending therefrom. The bottom end of the column is lowered into the cavity, the elliptical base plate passing through the elliptical opening in the cavity, and the column is rotated 90° to interlock the flanges with the flange slots. The cavity is filled with concrete grout, and the square or rectangular steel column is filled with concrete.
Pole stand
A pole stand having a base, a holder removably attachable to the base, and a plurality of stakes to secure the base to the ground. A top surface of the base has a section to store the holder when not in use. A bottom surface of the base has a plurality of stake holders to hold the stakes when not in use. The holder has two tubes attached by link arms to allow the two holders to be adjustable relative to each other. The base also has a central main hole and a plurality of auxiliary holes so that a pole can be inserted through at least one of the tubes and through the main hole so as to be perpendicular to the ground, or through one of the auxiliary holes so as to be non-perpendicular to the ground.
Fence Post Sleeve Assembly
A fence post sleeve assembly for facilitating a fence post to easily be removed or replaced includes a post guide which includes a first half that is coupled to a second half. The post guide defines a sleeve to insertably receive a fence post. Furthermore, the post guide is comprised of a rigid material thereby facilitating the post guide to be buried in a post hole without collapsing. In this way the fence post can be inserted or removed from the post hole. A base is attached to the post guide to inhibit the fence post from passing through the sleeve defined by the first half and the second half.

Sand anchor utilizing compressed gas
A sand anchor includes a shank and a plunger. The plunger can be inserted into a first end of the shank. The plunger includes an extension, an annular fitting, and an interior seal. The extension is formed with a hollow center. The annular fitting is positioned between an outer surface of the extension and an inner surface of the shank. The interior seal is positioned within the hollow center of the extension and configured to provide a one-way seal.
Load distributing deck insert
A load distributing deck insert for supporting an object above the surface of a deck. The load distributing deck insert may include a body, a saddle, and a load receiving section. The load distributing deck insert may avoid contacting an upper surface of the adjacent deck boards.
FENCE POST FLUSH MOUNT
A fence post mount device comprising: a base having at least one cavity; a first universal collet having a plurality of collet legs attached to each other through at least one of a plurality of separation notches, wherein a distal end of the first universal collet is inserted into the cavity from a proximal end of the base; a first cap nut inserted into the first universal collet; a post inserted into the cavity of the base; a full thread nut threaded into the first cap nut from a distal end of the base through an opening, wherein each of the plurality of separation notches are broken when the full thread nut is tightened into the first cap nut and each of the collet legs of the first universal collet deforms an inner wall of the post such that the post is securely locked within the cavity of the base.
Post socket
A post socket includes a housing, a compressible sleeve within the housing, the sleeve being moveable between a first position in which the sleeve has a first internal width and a second position in which the sleeve has a second internal width, a linkage pivotably connected to the sleeve, and an actuator for actuating the linkage to move the sleeve from the first position to the second position to grip a post therein, the linkage including a linkage body connected to the actuator, the linkage further including at least one arm including a first end and a second end, the actuator being configured so that its actuation moves the linkage body to thereby move the first end and the second end of the at least one arm and thus move the sleeve from the first position to the second position.
Pin anchored umbrella base
An anchored umbrella base is provided with a screw-in base member threaded to an anchor and protruding through a dome to receive a lower umbrella pole.
Stanchion or post with a spring-loaded assembly
A socket mounted post system including a post with a hollow base portion attached to a spring mechanism. The spring mechanism includes a pillar, the pillar having a finger extending from the hollow base portion. The finger is engageable with a socket that is mountable in a floor. The spring mechanism allows the post to flex angularly relative to a vertical orientation of the post.
