MODULAR POLE, JOINT FOR MODULAR POLE, AND FASTENER FOR CONNECTING MODULAR POLE MODULES
A joint for a modular pole comprises a lower flange, an upper flange, and a transition section. The lower flange may have a lower flange external dimension which is greater than an upper flange external dimension. A fastener which may be useful in connecting the joint to a pipe or a stud comprises a through hole having an inner thread which does not span the entire distance of the through hole, and an outer thread on an exterior surface of the fastener with the inner thread and the outer thread having opposing thread directions. A modular pole comprises P.sub.n+1 pipes, T.sub.n joints, and a plurality of fasteners where n is an integer greater than or equal to 1.
Reinforced mechanical post
A reinforced post comprises a baseplate and a reinforcement member having at least one channel, with each channel for receiving a bolt. The baseplate has a hole for each channel. For each hole a bolt is engaged with the channel through the hole to secure the reinforcement member to the baseplate. A hollow post is positioned over the reinforcement member.
PORTABLE SECURING MECHANISM FOR AN UPRIGHT STAND
A securing mechanism suitable for attachment to an inflatable structure for securing a upright supporting stand , comprising: a first securing section, having a first support region for positioning adjacent to the top surface of the structure, a second support region for positioning adjacent to the bottom surface of the structure, a central support joining said first and second regions, a second securing section, connected to said first securing section and extending in an opposite direction, having a first support region, a central region and a second support region, wherein said second securing section is for positioning adjacent to a second inflatable structure; a central fixing area having top and bottom sides, connected on the bottom side proximate to a first region of at least one of said first and second securing sections, wherein part of said central fixing area can be affixed to a stand for supporting an upright.
Universal awning anchor
A universal awning anchor is an apparatus that supports an awning with various types of ground, such as soil, concrete, and sand. The apparatus includes a head, a first elongated bar, a second elongated bar, a length-adjustable fastener, and an anchor. The head upholds an awning. The first elongated bar and the second elongated bar define the height of the apparatus. The length-adjustable fastener secures the awning onto the head. The head and the anchor are removable and replaceable with the first elongated bar and the second elongated bar, respectively. The first elongated bar and the second elongated bar are telescopically engaged. The anchor that mounts the apparatus into the soil includes a plurality of threads. The anchor that mounts the apparatus onto concrete includes a plate and a plurality of anchoring holes. The anchor that mounts the apparatus into sand includes a first stake and a second stake.
FENCE POST FLUSH MOUNT
A fence post mount device comprising: a base having at least one cavity; a first universal collet having a plurality of collet legs attached to each other through at least one of a plurality of separation notches, wherein a distal end of the first universal collet is inserted into the cavity from a proximal end of the base; a first cap nut inserted into the first universal collet; a post inserted into the cavity of the base; a full thread nut threaded into the first cap nut from a distal end of the base through an opening, wherein each of the plurality of separation notches are broken when the full thread nut is tightened into the first cap nut and each of the collet legs of the first universal collet deforms an inner wall of the post such that the post is securely locked within the cavity of the base.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR COUPLING A POST TO A FOUNDATION
Various implementations include a system for coupling a post to a foundation. The system includes a rod having a first rod end and a second rod end. The first rod end is spaced apart from a top surface of the foundation, and the second rod end is coupled to the foundation. The post has at least one side wall at least partially defining an inner cavity and an inner tube disposed within the inner cavity and coupled to the at least one side wall. The inner tube has a first tube end and a second tube end that is closer than the first tube end to a bottom end of the post. A portion of the rod is disposable within the inner tube such that the first rod end is axially spaced apart from the first tube end. The first rod end is couplable to the first tube end.
Apparatus and Method for Fastening a Composite Pole to the Ground
A fastening element is for fastening a hollow composite pole to the ground at a location where a slit-formed opening is present in the ground. The fastening element has a lower end portion that is configured for being positioned in the slit-formed opening, wherein a conical portion of the composite pole is abutting a conical upper portion of the fastening element. A method is for fastening a hollow composite pole to the ground.
Lever lock post holder
A post holder for holding a post in place. The post holder includes: a casing including a hollow cylinder and a clamping flag defined by a cutout formed in the hollow cylinder; first and second brackets detachably secured to the casing; a cylindrical rod disposed between the first and second brackets and secured to the first and second brackets; and a levered cam disposed between the first and second brackets and having a shape of a comma that includes a tail and a circular disk. The circular disk has a hole that the cylindrical rod passes through, where the hole is offset from a center of the circular disk so that a level of a clamping force that the circular disk applies to the clamping flag changes as the levered cam rotates relative to the casing.
Pivotable signpost support device
Disclosed is a pivotable signpost support device. The device includes a signpost support that is vertically aligned with a ground post support, wherein the signpost support is disposed above the ground post support that is affixed to a ground post. The signpost support and the ground post support are secured between first vertical support and a second vertical support. The signpost support is pivotally secured to the first and second vertical supports by means of a pivot bolt having a die spring at an end thereof, so that it can pivot forward and backward relative to the first and second vertical supports. The pivot bolt can tighten the die spring so as to keep the signpost support in an upright position but allowing the signpost support to fall into a collapsed position.
