Awning Assembly
The present embodiments are directed to an awning assembly for a recreational vehicle comprising a main body, a flexible awning material, a roller tube, a lead rail, at least one support leg hinged to the lead rail, and at least one tension rafter being mountable between the main body and the lead rail. The at least one support leg is hinged to the lead rail so that the support leg can be hinged into a first storage section of the lead rail frame. The lead rail frame comprises a second storage section for receiving the tension rafter therein, wherein the second storage section comprises an opening, wherein either holder is disposed within the opening, or the tension rafter is self-clamping into the second storage section.
Mobile device tools for smart vehicle features operation and automatic wireless routing selection and methods of use
Control methods and systems including a smart vehicle, a smart mobile device including a processor, a memory communicatively coupled to the processor, and machine readable instructions stored in the memory that may cause a system to perform at least the following when executed by the processor: use the smart mobile device to automatically control functionality of smart features of the smart vehicle based on an applied control logic and environmental inputs and/or use the smart mobile device to automatically control a wireless routing selection between a local area network associated with the smart vehicle and a remote wide area network based on an application tool switch logic.

Awning assembly
An awning assembly for use with a vehicle. The awning comprising an elongate base attachable to the vehicle, the base having a first end and an opposing second end, a portion of the second end of the base being magnetic or responsive to magnetic force. Arms are attached at the first and/or second end of the base, being pivotable relative to the base between a stowed position and a deployed position. A portion of each arm being magnetic or responsive to magnetic force. A flexible sheet associated with the arms, which in the deployed positon with the arms extending away from the base so that the flexible sheet provides cover to an area beneath the arms. In the stowed position, the arms are located adjacent the base so that the magnetic portions of the base and the arms connect, thereby securing the arms to the base.
ENERGY GENERATING PHOTOVOLTAIC AWNING WITH SCISSOR MECHANISM AND TILTING PHOTOVOLTAIC PANELS
An expandable and retractable photovoltaic structure includes a base that provides support to permit mounting of the photovoltaic structure solely from the base. Photovoltaic panels are arranged adjacently between the base and a lead element when the photovoltaic structure is in an open configuration. The photovoltaic structure is supported by scissor link mechanisms, coupled to the base at one end and the lead support element at the other end. The scissor link mechanisms consist of scissor links pivotally coupled together to form a moveable successive chain of the scissor links. The photovoltaic panels are attached to the scissor links, via side frames, so that as the lead arm moves away from the base the scissor link mechanisms expand to deploy the photovoltaic structure in an open configuration, and as the lead arm moves towards the base, the scissor link mechanisms retract the photovoltaic structure to place the photovoltaic structure in the closed configuration.
