A wheeled land vehicle covering system configured for one-person operation, the covering system having a covering system frame composed of a plurality of spaced apart uprights which support an overhead track from which a vehicle cover is suspended that is extendable along the track to cover a vehicle and which is retractable to uncover the vehicle. Each one of the uprights is height adjustable to adjust how far a top of the cover is above a roof of a vehicle to maintain a ventilation space therebetween. The cover is configured for one-person removal for storage when it is disposed in the fully retracted position. Such a cover also is configured for one-person installation when it is desired to reinstall the cover. The cover is attached by a hanger arrangement that enables extension and retraction of the cover by enabling relative extensible and retractable movement of the cover along the track.

An awning keder includes an awning bead extending along a length of the keder that is sized for insertion into a keder rail, and a connecting panel coupled with the awning bead and extending along the length of the keder. The awning bead and the connecting panel are integrated into a one-piece keder. The one-piece component does not require additional assembly or alteration before welding onto a vinyl canopy, thereby cutting down on production time. The keder is also more durable and less susceptible to expansion or shrinkage resulting from environmental changes.

The present invention provides an enclosure mounted to the top of a vehicle for camping or spending time outdoors. The enclosure generally has a roof that slides from a closed, packed position on top of the vehicle for transport to an open deployed position cantilevered off the back or side of the vehicle. The sliding roof contains a shelter that drops down to create a space next to the vehicle protected from the elements but with access into the vehicle.

An awning shield connector connects an awning shield to a structure. The awning shield connector includes an elongated strip of PVC material with a first bead along one side of the elongated strip and shaped to engage an awning rail on the structure, and a second bead along an opposite side of the elongated strip and shaped to engage the awning shield. A third bead for a light strip or the like is positioned between the first and second beads and extends along a length of the elongated strip.

An awning shield connector connects an awning shield to a structure. The awning shield connector includes an elongated strip of PVC material with a first bead along one side of the elongated strip and shaped to engage an awning rail on the structure, and a second bead along an opposite side of the elongated strip and shaped to engage the awning shield. The present invention concerns a vehicle awning support for supporting a vehicle awning on a vehicle, a vehicle awning assembly including the vehicle awning support and methods of use thereof. The vehicle awning support includes at least one vehicle mount for mounting the support to at least a portion of the vehicle, at least one vehicle awning mount for mounting the support to at least a portion of the awning and at least one arm extending between the mounts. The arm is moveable between a retracted position in which the vehicle awning is located adjacent the at least a portion of the vehicle and an extended position in which the vehicle awning extends outwardly relative to the at least a portion of the vehicle.
