Fence system
10808419 · 2020-10-20 ·

A fence panel and method of assembly. The fence panel includes end brackets that are affixed to panel facing sides of fence uprights. A top rail and a base rail span between the uprights. Panel and spacer members are secured between the top and base rails. The fence panel construction method includes constructing lengths of fence by first installing uprights in the ground, then affixing the base rail to the uprights. A magnetic strip spans between the uprights. Spacers and panels are supported by the base rail and by the magnetic strip. After placement of the spacers and panels, a top rail is positioned between the uprights and adjacent to upper ends of the spacers and panels, thereby securing the spacers and panels between the top rail and the base rail to form a fence panel.

PLASTIC PANEL AND STRUCTURES USING THE SAME

A hollow plastic wall panel, the panel having a length greater than a width, a thickness less than the width, a front wall, an opposite back wall and opposed first and second long edge regions, wherein the panel comprises a first end and a longitudinally opposite second end, wherein the first long edge region defines at least one first recessed portion to longitudinally receive and mate with a first longitudinal support structure and wherein the second long edge region defines at least one second recessed portion to longitudinally receive and mate with a second longitudinal support structure.

An outdoor lattice system comprises at least two posts and a plurality of modular lattice systems configured to be disposed between and supported by the at least two posts. The posts have an elongate body comprising multiple support openings arranged along the elongate body. Each of the modular lattice sections comprise a body, a first edge and a second edge, each edge being a longitudinal edge of the body, the second edge opposite to the first edge, each of the first edge and the second edge comprising a support element extending outwardly therefrom. The support element is configured to couple mechanically with a support opening from the plurality of support openings of the first post, and the at least one support element on the second edge of the first modular lattice section configured to couple mechanically with a support opening from the plurality of support openings of the second post.

FRAMELESS GLASS FENCING COMPONENT

In a first aspect the invention concerns frameless glass fencing component (10) for a frameless glass fencing installation. The frameless glass fencing component (10) is produced from an engineering plastic. In a further aspect there is disclosed herein a frameless glass fencing installation and a method of installing a frameless glass fence.

PICKLEBALL BARRIER

A deployable pickleball barrier includes a plurality of panels having a first rigid surface, a second rigid surface, and a substantially straight channel coupling the rigid surfaces. Each of the plurality of panels are coupled with another of the plurality of panels by an interpanel joint that includes a rigid bond and a plurality of fold lines formed in the first rigid surface to form a rightwardly biasing hinge. Each of the plurality of panels includes an intrapanel joint including a plurality of fold lines formed in the second rigid surface to form a leftwardly biasing hinge. The deployable pickleball barrier can be folded at each of the hinges to alternate between a deployed configuration and a folded configuration.

GLASS FENCING SYSTEM
20240141652 · 2024-05-02 ·

A glass fencing system includes glass panels, rails, gaskets, and spigots. The rails extend across the upper edges of the glass panels. The gaskets are fitted within the rails. The spigots support one of the glass panels and comprise a base, a first arm, a first pad, a second arm, and a second pad. The first pad has a first pad surface and a lower surface. The first pad surface is in contact with the first arm and the glass panel. The lower surface extends from the first pad surface and is in contact with the glass panels. The second arm has bores. The second pad has a second pad surface, a backing, a plate, and fasteners. The second pad surface is in contact with the glass panel. The backing is spaced apart from the second pad surface and has backing openings aligned with the bores. The plate is located between the second pad surface and the backing. The fasteners pass through the bores and the backing openings to contact the plate.

A modular system of fencing components that can simulate the appearance and texture of traditional fencing materials is provided having novel connection and support components and systems to accommodate for thermal expansion while remaining strong, lightweight, easy to install and repair, and cost effective.

Lightweight concrete or masonry fence system with optional concrete footings
10422156 · 2019-09-24 · ·

Column and panel concrete fence systems and related methods of construction. Such a method may include placing posts into respective concrete footings, and attaching a 4-arm bracket to each post. The concrete column may be provided in two initially separate portions e.g., each corresponding to a front or back face of the fence. One of the portions (e.g., corresponding to the front or back of the fence) is attached to a given post, supported on one lateral arm of each bracket. The concrete panel may then be advanced into place, and the other portion of the column is attached to the post, over the first column portion that was already attached to the post. The 2.sup.nd portion of the concrete panel is supported on the other lateral arm of the brackets. The panel itself is supported on a middle arm of the bracket, between the lateral column-supporting arms.

FASTENER ASSEMBLY, MESH PANEL AND BARRIER SYSTEM
20190284815 · 2019-09-19 ·

A fastener assembly for mounting a panel to a framework includes an elongate flexible tie having a proximal end and an opposing distal end and a clamping block. The clamping block has a tie-receiving channel extending between an inner and an opposing outer side, and a gripper in or adjacent the tie-receiving channel for gripping the tie. The proximal end is fixable to the clamping block and, in use, the inner side of the clamping block abuts the panel and the gripper grips the tie such that tension in the tie presses the inner side of the clamping block against the panel. A mesh panel made of polymeric material and having a honeycomb shaped mesh, together with the fastener assembly, forms a barrier system for erecting a drop-protection barrier on a safety railing, scaffolding, or like framework.
