Support system and structure supported thereby
A weighted support assembly for supporting an upright post. The support assembly comprises: a base frame comprising:an elongate base member attached to the post and extending outwards from the post; and a plurality of upright elongate members ascending from the base member; a plurality of weights stacked in layers upon the base member; and a top frame comprising:an elongate top member attached to the post and extending outwards from the post above the base member; and a plurality of elongate members descending from the top member. The ascending members engage telescopically with corresponding said descending members, and each said weight defines a hole therethrough which is penetrated by at least one of said ascending or descending members.
WARP RESISTANT FENCE PANEL
A fence having a frame for receiving fence panels and the fence panels that are preferably received in the frame vertically or horizontally. The fence panel has a reinforcing structure surrounded by panel structure for preventing bowing due to differential heating over the panel. The reinforcing structure may have longitudinal members separated by cross-members for forming channels, and may have external tab portions to facilitate connection with the panel structure. The panel structure may define a tongue and groove for matingly fitting with adjacent panels. The width of the reinforcing structure, and panel structure material on either side of the reinforcing structure preferably define equal thicknesses.
Selectively deployable screening assembly and method of use
A selectively deployable screening assembly for screening an event from being viewed by passersby includes a set of shielding devices, the shielding devices of which are selectively mutually couplable. Each shielding device comprises a frame, a panel, and a base. The frame comprises a lower element and a pair of side elements, each of which is hinged and foldable. The side elements also are foldable into substantial abutment with the lower element. The panel, which is substantially opaque, is attached to and extends between the lower element and the side elements. The base is attached to the lower element and stabilizes the frame on a surface. The set of shielding devices is deployable proximate to a perimeter of a site of an event, such as an accident, a crime scene, and the like, to screen the event from being viewed by passersby.

Fencing assembly
Various embodiments of the present disclosure can include a fencing assembly. In some embodiments, the fencing assembly can include a top cross-member including a first channel. In some embodiments, the fencing assembly can include a bottom cross-member including a second channel that opposes the first channel. In some embodiments, the fencing assembly can include a first vertical support member, wherein the first vertical support member is connected to a first end of the top cross-member and a first end of the bottom cross-member. In some embodiments, the fencing assembly can include a second vertical support member, wherein the second vertical support member is connected to a second end of the top cross-member and a second end of the bottom cross-member. In some embodiments, the fencing assembly can include a planar barrier, wherein the planar barrier is inserted into the first channel and the second channel and is confined on a first and second side of the planar barrier by the first vertical support member and the second vertical support member.
Support System and Structure Supported Thereby
A weighted support assembly for supporting an upright post. The support assembly comprises:a base frame comprising:an elongate base member attached to the post and extending outwards from the post; anda plurality of upright elongate members ascending from the base member;a plurality of weights stacked in layers upon the base member; anda top frame comprising:an elongate top member attached to the post and extending outwards from the post above the base member; anda plurality of elongate members descending from the top member. The ascending members engage telescopically with corresponding said descending members, and each said weight defines a hole therethrough which is penetrated by at least one of said ascending or descending members.
Free-Standing Modular Fence System
A free-standing fence system includes two or more posts and one or more substantially planar prefabricated panels. Each prefabricated panel is configured to be coupled to two of the posts. Each prefabricated panel comprises a foam core and a first veneer layer. The foam core has a first side and a second side. The first veneer layer is coupled to and substantially covers the entire first side of the foam core. The veneer layer comprises one or more veneer members. Each veneer member includes a decorative layer of a continuous natural stone material and a binding layer coupled to a rear surface of the decorative layer.
Fiber Cement Fence and Its Aesthetics
The Fiber Cement Fence and Its Aesthetics patent application introduces a novel approach to address limitations in traditional fencing materials, offering enhanced durability, low maintenance, and aesthetic appeal. By utilizing fiber cement panels, the invention provides a sustainable solution that improves upon the shortcomings of wood, metal, and vinyl fences. The fiber cement fence consists of panels made from a composite material comprising cement, sand, and cellulose fibers. This innovation design presents a range of advantages, including increased longevity, resistance to weathering, and improved privacy. The fence is customizable in size, shape, and color to suit individual preferences, and its installation involves traditional fence construction techniques. Moreover, the use of alternating stripe patterns created through tape application enhances the fence's visual appeal, simplifies installation, and strengthens the structure. By providing a durable, customizable, and aesthetically pleasing fencing option, the invention addresses contemporary fencing challenges while contributing to sustainable living practices.
Rectangular plastic tanks for storing rainwater and forming walls
A plastic tank, comprising a substantially rectangular outer shape having top, bottom, end, and side walls, wherein the side walls comprise alternating depressions and projections, and wherein the depressions increase in depth from top to bottom to decrease internal volume of the plastic tank from top to bottom so that, in use, the side walls resist bulging under internal pressure from water stored in the plastic tank.
Glass fencing system
A glass fencing system includes glass panels, rails, gaskets, and spigots. The rails extend across the upper edges of the glass panels. The gaskets are fitted within the rails. The spigots support one of the glass panels and comprise a base, a first arm, a first pad, a second arm, and a second pad. The first pad has a first pad surface and a lower surface. The first pad surface is in contact with the first arm and the glass panel. The lower surface extends from the first pad surface and is in contact with the glass panels. The second arm has bores. The second pad has a second pad surface, a backing, a plate, and fasteners. The second pad surface is in contact with the glass panel. The backing is spaced apart from the second pad surface and has backing openings aligned with the bores. The plate is located between the second pad surface and the backing. The fasteners pass through the bores and the backing openings to contact the plate.
