A structural improvement of a side post of a fence, wherein the side post comprises a square side post tube and a reinforcing post located inside the side post tube. The four sides of the reinforcing post facing the side post tube are respectively configured with three longitudinal boards and a connecting board extending coaxially with the side post tube and arranged radially. An abutting board is connected to the external end of the connecting board, the abutting board extends coaxially with the side post tube and the board edge of each longitudinal board and the side of the abutting board contact with the tube internal wall of the side post tube. The board edge of each longitudinal board is configured with a notch corresponding to the connecting hole defined in the side post tube, the height of the notch is higher than hole height of the connecting hole, and the gap of the notch faces the connecting hole, thereby the reinforcing post not only enabling to reinforce the rigid strength but also the side post being capable of being used to connect the fences in linear, right-angle or T-shaped arrangement.

Cable-reinforced barrier

A barrier is formed from bollards and posts that are embedded in a terrain. The bollards and posts are interconnected by, and support, vertically-spaced runs of primary rails. The rails in each run are aligned in end-to-end relationship. A strengthening cable extends within each run, and is anchored at each end within a concrete-filled bollard. Each bollard contains an elongate, vertically-oriented cable entry port that can receive the end portions of all of the cables in the runs, disposed in laterally-spaced relationship. A two-part closure covers the cable entry port, and includes spaced cable openings that maintain the cables that exit the bollard at a desired lateral separation distance. A cable confinement bracket installed at each post prevents the cables from flying out of the primary rails after an impact. The bracket features a spine that restrains the cables, which pass through bays notched in the spine's lower edge. Each cable may be formed from structural strand, and may include attached cable clips to enhance the cable's resistance to pullout from the bollards.

Post and ground mat

A post has an elongate shaft and a flat base. The base has the general shape of a non-rectangular parallelogram from which scoops and scallops have been excised. Excisions include a set of aligned scallops from each of two opposed first sides, and a single scoop from each of two opposed second sides. The shape of the bases permits the posts to be interlocked and stacked. The upper end of the shaft of one stacked post is cradled by the scoop of an adjacent post. The scallops of posts at one level of a stack cradle the shafts of posts stacked at a higher level. The effective surface area of the base may be increased with a flat ground mat that interlocks with the base. The posts, with or without ground mats, may be assembled with sheets of infill material to form a barrier, such as a temporary fence.

METHOD AND DEVICE FOR IMPROVED POST CONSTRUCTION
20170101804 · 2017-04-13 ·

An improved post comprising a continuous filament fiberglass reinforced resin rod, any hollow post or pipe, and a filler material. The filler material may be selected from a number of materials including, but not limited to, a high compressive strength material such as grout that comprises Portland cement, calcium sulphoaluminate, graded fine to powdery sand, and water or a rigid closed cell urethane foam. The method of installing said post comprising driving said rod into the surface of the ground; placing said post over said rod; and inserting said filler into the space between said rod and the inside of said post. The disclosed post is self-realigning because of the rebounding nature of the rod allowing the post to remain upright or return to plumb after being knocked out of vertical alignment by an outside force.

MODULAR FENCE

A fence system comprises a plurality of fence posts and a fence rail. The fence rail is characterized by a fence rail longitudinal axis and a fence rail cross-sectional profile in a plane orthogonal to the fence rail longitudinal axis. The fence rail cross-sectional profile has a hollow, obround shape. Each fence post has at least one rail opening having a substantially obround shape matching the obround shape of the cross-sectional profile of the fence rail, whereby a longitudinal end of the fence rail is slidingly insertable into the rail opening. The fence rail is mounted to and supported by a bracketing pair of the fence posts, wherein longitudinally opposing ends of the fence rail are positioned within corresponding rail openings of the bracketing pair of the fence posts.
