Radially expanding post extender
11486430 · 2022-11-01 · ·

A post coupler expands laterally. The post coupler includes a first member that is hollow and has a first slanted face. A second member is also hollow and has a second slanted face that is abutted with the first slanted face. A rod extends through the first and second members; the rod has a head that is disposed at a head end and threads disposed at a thread end. A nut is engaged with the threads, and rotating the nut causes the first member to extend in a first lateral direction and causes the second cylindrical member to extend in a second lateral direction opposite the first lateral direction.

Railing system

Combination plate and lateral stabilizers for use with a post and post spike

A combination of a plate and lateral stabilizers is provided. The present invention's main use is in conjunction with a regular fence post spike to support a fence installation so as to add strength against high wind or when the fence is installed in soggy alluvial soils, but the same invention can also be used on sign posts, telephone posts and the likes. This is accomplished by the shape of the device transferring lateral wind forces into vertical downward force to the ground. The lateral stabilizer are so efficient that it can even support a surface mounted post that has no ground embedded spike. The present invention could even allow for a post to simply rest on the ground without any in ground spike, all depending upon the intended use of the post.

Elongate panel for a sound wall and a stiffener member for the same

A stiffener member for a hollow elongate panel. The hollow elongate panel may include a first end wall having a groove formation formed by a pair of inner walls and extending a length of the hollow elongate panel. The groove formation may extend into the hollow elongate panel. The stiffener member may include a bight member having opposing ends; a pair of arm members respectively extending from one of the opposing ends of the bight member to provide a substantially U-shaped configuration; and a flange member extending from each of the pair of arm members. The flange member may extend inwardly to abut one of the pair of inner walls of the groove formation when the stiffener member is received within the hollow elongate panel.

Sound wall and method of constructing the same

A sound wall and a method of constructing the sound wall. The sound wall includes a pair of laterally spaced posts, at least one of the pair of posts including: an elongate central member, a flange extending form the elongate central member in a direction substantially normal to the elongate central member, and a fin extending from the central member. The central member, the flange, and the fin may define a cavity for receiving elongate panels. The sound wall may include a plurality of elongate panels extending between the laterally spaced posts and stacked in an elongate direction of the elongate central member. End regions of the respective elongate panels may be retained between the flange and the fin. The sound wall may include an elongate stiffener member positioned within at least one of the plurality of elongate panels.

Fencing assembly

A fencing assembly has two rails, multiple balusters, and multiple positioning assemblies. The two rails are disposed at a spaced interval, and each rail is hollow. Each one of the balusters is hollow and has two ends, wherein each one of the two ends is detachably mounted with a respective one of the two rails. Each one of the positioning assemblies is mounted with a respective one of the two rails and a respective one of the balusters, and has a positioning component and an anti-slip sheath. The positioning component is mounted with the corresponding rail, and has at least one stopping flange protruding radially. The anti-slip sheath is inserted into an end of the corresponding baluster and is sheathed on the positioning component, and at least part of the stopping flange abuts on an inner surface of the anti-slip sheath.
