11885146 · 2024-01-30 ·

A collar is provided that can be used to either drive posts into the ground or remove posts from the ground. The collar includes a first portion defining a post opening adapted for coupling about a post, and a second portion coupled to the first portion. The second portion includes a receiver adapted for receiving a tool for use in driving the post into the ground when the first portion is coupled about the post. The first portion defines an obtuse angle with respect to the second portion. The collar is configured to be positioned in a first orientation about a post when used to drive the post into the ground, and a second orientation, rotated approximately 180 degrees relative to the first orientation, when used to remove a post from the ground.

Ground Stake Kit

A ground stake kit includes at least one elongated ground stake having a top end, a bottom end and a middle portion. The stake being constructed from a weather resistant material plastic or composite material and having a rough textured outer surface. A cap is secured to the top end of the ground stake and is constructed from a hardened material such as metal to receive repeated impacts from the striker of an air hammer. A sleeve aligns the stake with an air hammer. The sleeve includes a first end having a shape and size that is complementary to the neck of an air hammer, and a second end having an alignment collar for receiving the cap and first end of the ground stake.

Post Driver

A post driver includes a post receptacle, a pair of handles, a pair of springs, and a plug. The post receptacle is configured to receive a post. The springs are configured to apply a substantially constant force as the post driver is raised or lowered relative to the post.

Bollard setting and installation system

A bollard setting and installation system for efficiently installing a bollard wall without any restrictions relating to proximity to water or flood plains. The bollard setting and installation system generally includes a setting frame which is positioned on a ground surface. A plurality of bollards is positioned on the setting frame in a desired spacing and orientation to form a bollard wall. A vehicle having a vehicle arm connected to a lifting frame is positioned such that the bollards are secured to the lifting frame by clamps in the desired spacing and orientation. The vehicle may then move the lifting frame to position the lower ends of the bollards in an opening in the ground surface. Concrete may be poured to encapsulate the lower ends of the bollards. The lifting frame may then be removed, with the bollard wall being free-standing in the ground surface.

POST SLEEVE POSITIONING APPARATUS AND RELATED METHODS

A post sleeve installation system can include a plurality of post sleeve installation devices and at least one spacing beam or mechanism. The spacing beam or mechanism can include end portions that rotate about multiple independent axes and can be coupled to a pair of post sleeve installation devices to determine or control the relative locations and orientations between two post sleeves. The post sleeve installation system can be used to install post sleeves for posts for a fence, a rail or other structure supported by posts.

A non-impact fence post driver attachable to a front end loader or similar mobile machine for operation has a hydraulic driven sleeve assembly suspended from a U-joint so as to vertically self-align from the loader, and has a fence post holding shell assembly attached to the sleeve with retractable gate hinged locking assembly to hold the fence post securely near the bottom while driving the post.

POST DRIVING IMPLEMENT
20190264411 · 2019-08-29 ·

Disclosed embodiments include post driving implements which attach to a power machine such as a loader in order to pick up posts of various sizes and materials and/or to drive the posts into the ground. In some exemplary disclosed embodiments, the post driving implement allows a post to be picked up when positioned inline with a direction of power machine travel and allows the post to rotate under the force of gravity to a second position in which the post is inline with a pounding mechanism for pounding the post into the ground. Catch mechanisms can be included to capture a portion of the implement to maintain the post in the second position until a release action is taken or a release command is given.

PILE DRIVING VEHICLE
20190234037 · 2019-08-01 ·

This disclosure relates to a pile-driving vehicle (1), comprising a chassis (11), a movement system (15) for moving the vehicle (1) on a soil, a first driving apparatus (21) and a second driving apparatus (22). Each driving apparatus (21, 22), which is intended to drive a respective pile into the soil, comprises a first member (31) that is constrained to the chassis (11), a second member (32) that is movable relative to the first member (31) along a driving line (200) and an actuating device (33) for moving the second member (32) relative to the first member (31). The movement of the second member (32) comprising an outward stroke, during which the actuating device (33) pushes the second member (32) towards the soil, applying a force on the second member (32) along the driving line (200), and a return stroke, during which the second member (32) is moved away from the soil. The second member (32) is designed to transmit the force to the pile to be driven in. The first driving apparatus (21) and the second driving apparatus (22) can be operated alternately, in such a way that the outward stroke of the second member (32) of the first driving apparatus (21) corresponds to the return stroke of the second member (32) of the second driving apparatus (22), and vice versa. This disclosure also relates to a method for driving a plurality of piles into a soil.
