TerraPull Device
An article of manufacture for providing an earth extraction device provides a set of three posts, a post securing bolt having a threaded end and a fix end and passing through the first top hole and the second top hole of each of the three posts in consecutive order for coupling the set of three posts together at a coupling point, a mating nut for coupling to the threaded end of the post securing bolt after protruding through the second top hole of the third post, a block and tackle pully-and-winch, and a top chain having a first end and a second end, the top chain configured around each of the posts of the set of three post above the coupling point. The block and tackle pully-and-winch includes a hook coupled to a top end, a winch cable configured within the pully and winch; a bottom chain coupled to a bottom end, and a winch handle, the winch handle configured to rotate the winch causing the winch cable within the block and tackle to shorten with an upward stroke. The first end and the second end of the top chain engaging the hook to suspend the pully and winch below the coupling point of the set of three posts.
VEHICLE SUPPORTED IMPLEMENT FOR HANDLING SEPARATE LOADS INDEPENDENTLY
A vehicle supported implement for handling separate loads independently, and related methods of use, are presented. The implement is configured to move a load, such as a hay bale, rotating the load radially about an axis, from a first position at a first elevation to a second position at a second elevation. It includes a first frame member and a second frame member pivotally connected to the first frame member at a joint. The axis of rotation intersects the joint normal to the back side of the first frame member and the second frame member rotates radially about the axis of rotation between the first position and the second position. The implement includes an actuator, such as a hydraulic cylinder, connected to the frame members to control the rotation. The implement includes an attachment feature on the back side to secure it to a vehicle.
STRUCTURAL POST TOOLS
Described herein are examples of systems and methods of a structural post tool. A structural post tool may include a system, including a pounder-fulcrum, a lever, and a post connector. The pounder-fulcrum may include a base plate and a tube comprising a base plate connection and a body extending to a lever connection end. The tube lever connection end may comprise a lever connection through hole. The lever may comprise a lever body including a first end and a second end. A fulcrum through hole may be disposed between the first end and the second end. The lever may be connected to the tube via a pivot mechanism insertably disposed through the lever connection through hole and the fulcrum through hole. The post connector may be configured to be connected to the lever proximate the first end of the lever.
TOOL AND ASSOCIATED METHOD FOR REMOVING SUNKEN POST FROM SUBSURFACE POSITION
A tool for use in removing a post from the ground includes a housing having a recess therein for slidably receiving the post. A hinged support arm extends from the housing into the recess, wherein the support arm is initially angled relative to the recess such that a protrusion extending from the post received within the recess causes a ramp-up movement relative to the support arm when the tool is being lowered onto the post as the protrusion impacts the support arm and a locked-in-place orientation when the support arm is wedged onto a lower surface of the protrusion as the tool is being translated upwardly. The hinged support arm is biased into the locked-in-place orientation.
System for deploying and collecting road sticks
System for deploying and collecting road sticks. A loading frame is mounted on a vehicle and comprises a road stick depot. A stick collecting device is arranged on a first clamp in a stick handling frame. A stick-deployment device is arranged movable back and forth along a beam in the driving direction of the vehicle. The stick-deployment device comprises a funnel, rotational drives, a ground plate and drive means to move the stick-deployment device vertically. The system is arranged to deploy and collect road sticks while the vehicle is in motion.
MULTIPURPOSE DEVICE
A stand-alone multipurpose lifting device includes an elongated vertical support section having a planar base section with an upper end including a substantially U-shaped receiving bearing including a plurality of pivot slots on either side of the U-shaped bearing and an angled elongated lever arm section. The lever arm section includes an angle strengthening gusset and a detachable extension arm and handle including a receiving sleeve for fitting over and receiving the end of the lever arm section. A device for cracking a seal formed around a manhole cover includes a horizontal cross bar section including a bottle jack holder recess, a bottle jack retaining means, two opposed leg sections, support struts between the horizontal cross bar and leg sections and a jack cap section including two lifting eyes including a hook and lifting chains for attaching to a manhole lifting arm detachably connected to a manhole cover.
CABLE BARRIER SEPARATOR APPARATUS
A cable barrier separator apparatus for separating cables from the barrier support so that the barrier support can be replaced. The cable barrier separator apparatus includes an actuator assembly; and an engagement assembly in communication with the actuator assembly for separating cables from support devices.
Tarmac light fixture removal tool
In embodiments, the tarmac light fixture removal tool comprises a support base, a jack, a collar lifter, and a spacer. The tarmac light fixture removal tool may pull a collar of a light fixture. As a non-limiting example, the collar may be inset into a tarmac such that the top of the collar is flush with the tarmac or is below the level of the tarmac. The support base may rest upon the tarmac, straddling the collar. The collar lifter may removably couple to the collar. The spacer may push a plurality of hooks on the collar lifter outwards such that the plurality of hooks engage with a lip on the collar. The jack may push the collar lifter up relative to the support base when actuated, thus lifting the collar.
Wedge-Lock Safe-T-Puller
The Wedge-Lock Safe-T-Puller is a tool that provides a safe and simple way to extract a T-post. The tool uses a captured sliding shackle that travels along a wedge to provide a positive grip between the bumps on a T-post and the Post Alignment Groove on the post side of the Wedge-Lock. Using a lifting shackle or sling attached to the lifting eye at the top of the tool, force is exerted vertically, causing the tool with its wedge to slide up the T-post thereby tightening the sliding shackle against the front of the T-post. This sliding action causes the wedge and sliding shackle to “lock” together to grip the T-post. The greater the force applied, the tighter the wedge and shackle grip. The Wedge-Lock Safe-T-Puller is intended to be operated with mechanical lifting equipment such as a front-end loader, track hoe, backhoe, Skid Steer Loader, etc. The tool may also be used in conjunction with lever and stand type manual or hydraulic extractors.
