ELECTROMAGNETIC CABINET LOCK
A latching mechanism selectively joins two surfaces and/or objects and includes a latch and a catch. The latch includes a pivoting locking member with respect to the latch that pivots between a locked position and an unlocked position. First and second electromagnetic coils housed within the latch are selectively energized to cause pivotal movement of the locking member. The catch defines at least one pocket for receiving a portion of the locking member when the locking member is in the locked position and the latch and the catch are engaged.
UNIVERSAL RAIL FOR UTILITY PIT
A pit assembly comprises: a pit wall defining an inner surface, and an outer surface; a rail secured to the inner surface of the pit wall, the rail comprising: a top end, a bottom end, a first side end, a second side end, and an outer face defining a curved radially outer surface and mounted on the inner surface of the pit wall; a center-lock strike portion proximate to the first side end; and a side-lock strike portion distal from the first side end, a one of the center-lock strike portion and the side-lock strike portion defining a strike notch in the bottom end; and a lid defining an upper surface and a lower surface and comprising a locking mechanism, the locking mechanism coupled to the lower surface and configured to engage a one of the center-lock strike portion and the side-lock strike portion of the rail.
Windows and doors assembly having ventilation function and horizontal contact function
The present disclosure relates to a windows and doors assembly having a ventilation function and a horizontal contact function, and more particularly to a horizontal contact windows and doors assembly for crime prevention and security functions by preventing a window from being open even when the window is slightly open and it is possible to ventilate with the outside air. To achieve the objective of the present disclosure, the windows and doors assembly having a ventilation function and a horizontal contact function includes a window frame, and a windowsill in which the window frame is slidably installed, a handle rotatably installed on the window frame, an engagement unit provided on a lateral surface of the window frame, linked to movement of the handle, and moved in upward and downward directions, an engagement guide provided on the windowsill to face the engagement unit and configured to catch or not catch the engagement unit depending on a position of the engagement unit, and a horizontal moving device provided on at least one of a top surface or a bottom surface of the window frame, linked to the handle, and configured to make the window frame horizontally come into contact with the windowsill or to release horizontal contact depending on movement of the handle, and in this case, when a contact state of the window with respect to the windowsill by the horizontal contact device is released while a catching operation between the engagement unit and the engagement guide is performed, it is possible to ventilate through a gap between the window and the windowsill, the window is restrictly moved to form the gap, and the window is prevented from being freely open.
INCREMENTAL WINDOW OR DOOR ASSEMBLY
An assembly that allows for incremental displacement of a window or door sash relative to a frame. Such a window or door system may include a handle exposed outside the window or door, retractable pins located on a sash of the window or door and holes on jambs of the window or door. The pins may be inserted into the holes to prevent the window or door from being moved if the handle is not turned. Turning the handle may pull the pins out of the holes and allow the window or door to move. A spring or similar mechanism may cause the pins to return the pins' protruding state when the handle is not being turned. The user may open the window or door to a desired open position by turning the handle and may lock the window or door at the opened position by releasing the handle for the pins to be inserted into corresponding holes for locking.
Universal Rail for Utility Pit
A rail for a utility pit includes: a top end; a bottom end distal from the top end; an outer face defining a curved radially outer surface, the radially outer surface configured to mount on an inner surface of the utility pit; an inner face distal from the outer face and defining a radially inner surface; a center-lock strike portion proximate to a first side end of the rail, the center-lock strike portion defining a center-lock strike notch in the bottom surface; and a side-lock strike portion distal from the first side end, the side-lock strike portion defining a side-lock strike notch, the side-lock strike notch defining a central wall and a pair of side walls extending radially inward from the central wall, a surface of each of the pair of side walls angled with respect to the central wall.
Lock sensor assembly
A covering (200) for an opening in a building and a sensor assembly (500) is disclosed. The covering (200) comprises a panel (201) moveable between an open position and a closed position, and to an intermediate position between the open position and the closed position. The sensor assembly (500) is configured to sense the position of a locking member (205) of the covering and to transmit signals indicating the position of locking member (205). Methods of installing a sensor assembly (500) on a covering (200) of an opening of a building are also disclosed.
Retention arrangement
A retention arrangement for releasably securing a closure against a fixed body is provided. The retention arrangement includes a housing defining a mouth configured to receive a striker and defining a longitudinal axis, and at least one retention element configured to selectively retain the striker within the mouth, and movable between an open position and a closed position. The retention element is resiliently biased towards the closed position. The retention element is configured to open upon displacement due to the striker along the longitudinal axis in a first direction, and to close upon complete insertion of the striker within the mouth. The retention element is configured for rotation about at least two non-parallel axes so as to direct the striker towards the mouth.
Electric strike assembly
An electric strike assembly includes a housing including a mounting device and defining an internal longitudinal cavity, a keeper pivotally arranged in the housing, and a selectively locatable component including a locking device to cooperate with the mounting device to secure the component at a predetermined incremental position along the length of the removable cavity. In accordance with other aspects of the present invention, an electric strike assembly includes a housing defining an internal longitudinal cavity, a keeper pivotally arranged in the housing, and a keeper shim assembly, including a shim, slidably engaged with the keeper to position the shim at a predetermined position along a length of the cavity.
