Fenestration assembly operation hardware and methods for same

A fenestration hardware assembly includes a blade socket including a blade recess and an operator interface feature rotatably coupled with an operator housing. A latch blade is movably coupled with the operator housing. The latch blade is movable between deployed and withdrawn positions. In the deployed position at least a portion of the latch blade is received in the blade recess of the blade socket. In the withdrawn position the portion of the latch blade is recessed from the blade recess. The operator interface feature is rotatable between at least locked and unlocked configurations. In the locked configuration the latch blade is in the deployed position and received in the blade recess. In the unlocked configuration the latch blade is translated from the deployed position to the withdrawn position and withdrawn from the blade recess according to rotation of the operator interface feature.

RELEASABLE LOCKING MECHANISM FOR A REFRIGERATED APPLIANCE

A releasable locking mechanism for a refrigerated unit. A latch plate is movable between a position that can be engaged by a deadbolt and a position clear of the deadbolt. The latch plate is moved by a door release accessible from an interior of the refrigerated unit. When the door release is activated, a pin blocks movement of the latch plate so that the refrigerated unit remains unlocked until the pin is reset.

TAMPER PROOF WALL MOUNTED STRIKE ASSEMBLY FOR BARN DOOR
20220178174 · 2022-06-09 ·

Tamper proof wall mounted strike assembly for barn door is a strike or strike assembly that attaches to a wall or a door molding and functions with a lockset installed on a barn door. Tamper proof wall mounted strike assembly functions to receive the latch or deadbolt from the door lockset on the barn door wherein the latch or deadbolt can be latched or locked within the strike assembly to latch and/or lock the barn door and the latch or the deadbolt can be unlatched or unlocked within the strike assembly to unlatch and/or unlock the barn door. Tamper proof wall mounted strike assembly includes a strike housing assembly that mates with a wall plate assembly by interlocking teeth on each assembly to yield a tamper proof connection there between that is without any exposed screws or fasteners when the barn door is in the closed position to yield a tamper proof wall mounted strike assembly.

ADJUSTABLE BAFFLE AND DOORFRAME HAVING THE ADJUSTABLE BAFFLE
20220178181 · 2022-06-09 ·

An adjustable baffle includes a base having a room formed in its rear side, and a first through hole is defined through the base. A baffle is located in the room and movable in at least one movement direction within the room of the base. An elastic element is located to at least one side of the baffle that faces the at least one movement direction. The baffle includes a second through hole that is smaller than the first through hole. The baffle includes a guide face formed on one face thereof and located along the periphery of the second through hole. By the movable baffle, the lock latch of a door is guided by the guide face so that the lock latch can easily and smoothly insert into the recess of the doorframe.

Keyless gate latch
11352815 · 2022-06-07 · ·

A keyless gate latch to selectively latch a gate to a post wherein the keyless gate latch comprises a keeper assembly including a keeper member having a keeper stop movable between a latched position and an unlatched position normally biased in the latched position and a latch assembly including an actuator lever rotatably between a latched position and an unlatched position at least partially disposed within a housing and including a latch stop such that when the latch member and the actuator lever are each in the latched position, the keeper stop and the latch stop when engaged with each other prevent the gate from being opened and when the actuator lever is rotated from the latched position to the unlatched position the actuator lever engages the latch member moving the latch member from the latched position to the unlatched position preventing the keeper stop from engaging the latch stop allowing the gate to be opened.

LIGHTED DOOR JAMB FOR AN ACCESS DOOR

An illumination system is provided for an access door may include an elongated illumination housing configured to be coupled to at least one of an upstanding jamb and a corresponding jamb casing extending along the one side of the access door, an elongated light transmissive cover coupled to the illumination housing, an elongated light pipe received within the illumination housing, an illumination source housing operatively coupled to one end of the light pipe, an illumination source disposed within the illumination source housing and configured to produce and transmit visible light into the light pipe so as to be visible through the light transmissive cover, a source of electrical power, and a control unit configured to selectively apply electrical power from the source of electrical power to the illumination source to produce the visible light.

LEVER ACTION AUTOMATIC SHOOTBOLT OPERATOR WITH MAGNETICALLY-TRIGGERED LOCK MECHANISM

A magnetically-triggered lock mechanism for interengaging two relatively movable components. The lock mechanism includes a bolt mounted within a first component and displaceable between retracted and extended positions to interengage with a second component when the first and second components are in a predetermined position relative to each other and the bolt is extended, and a magnetically-releasable latch mechanism positioned to latch the bolt in a retracted position, the latch mechanism including a first magnet and mounted for movement between a biased latch engaging position and a latch releasing position in a non-common direction of movement of the bolt. An adjustable strike having an actuator portion including a second magnet is positioned to displace the latch mechanism to the latch releasing position when the first component is in the predetermined position relative to the second component, wherein the actuator portion is pivotable about a transverse axis of the strike body in response to magnetic communication between the first and second magnets to maintain the actuator portion within close proximity to the latch mechanism.

Hood retraction structure

Technology is provided which allows the amount of a hood protruding forward from a striker to be reduced at a normal time before the pop-up hood system is operated, and allowing the stroke when the front end of the hood rotates downward when the pop-up hood system is operated to be reduced, such that it is possible to effectively utilize the space. A hood retraction structure includes: a slider provided at a front side lower portion of a hood; and a rail that is provided on an upper portion of a striker body constituting a hood locking mechanism, movable in a longitudinal direction relative to the slider, and is longer than the slider in a length in the longitudinal direction. Retraction of the slider relative to the rail allows the hood to retract relative to the hood locking mechanism.
