The invention provides a magnetic actuator (100, 1001, 1002) including at least two magnets. One magnet is a semi hard magnet (310) and the other magnet is a hard magnet (320). The hard magnet (320) is configured to open or close the magnetic actuator (100, 1001, 1002). The semi hard magnet (310) and the hard magnet (320) are placed adjacent to each other. A change in magnetization polarization of the semi hard magnet (310) is configured to push or pull the hard magnet (320) to open or close a digital lock realised with the magnetic actuator 100, 1001, 1002. The magnetic actuator of the invention can also be used to realise a valve.

A lock cassette includes at least one lock bolt connecting piece, adapted for releasable engagement with a lock cassette engaging end portion of a door integrated lock bolt of a door when the lock cassette is mounted in a lock cassette receiving cavity of the door, a lock bolt maneuvering mechanism, configured to displace the at least one lock bolt connecting piece between an extended position and a retracted position, to thereby displace the lock bolt between an extended position and a retracted position, and at least one lock bolt locking arrangement, configured to lock the movability of the at least one lock bolt connecting piece when a locking action is effected, and unlock the movability of the at least one lock bolt connecting piece when an unlocking action is effected.

Door latch for a domestic electrical appliance
10806322 · 2020-10-20 ·

A door latch for a domestic electrical appliance includes a latch assembly that includes a locking element arranged to be displaceable between an unlocking position and a locking position, and an arresting element which moves from its release position into the arresting position as the door is closed. The arresting element in the arresting position can be locked by means of the locking element against movement into the release position and in the locked state prevents the closed door from opening. The latch assembly further includes an electric switch which, when the door is closed, responds to a movement of the locking element from the unlocking position into the locking position, and a switch auxiliary control member which, as the door is closed, is urged by the closing body from an active position against a restoring spring force into an inactive position.

Systems and methods for operating a security tag. The methods comprise: causing a plunger of the security tag to engage a latch of the security tag; preventing, by an anti-defeat structure of the security tag, a disengagement between the plunger and the latch when an impact force is applied to the security tag; and allowing, by the anti-defeat structure, the plunger to disengage the latch when a magnetic field is applied to the security tag.

ELECTRONIC LOCKING DEVICE

An electromagnetic locking device is disclosed including a barrel and a plug which are able to move relative to one another when in an unlocked condition. A locking mechanism, within the locking device, includes a pair of shuttles which include permanent magnets which are caused to move in opposite directions by an electromagnet to push the shuttles into respective recesses so as to not straddle the junction between the plug and barrel. Also forming part of the locking device are one or more jammer mechanisms which include ferromagnetic jammers which are drawn into recesses when under the influence of external magnets. If a strong external magnet is used to draw the shuttles into the recesses therefore not straddling the recesses, the jammers are drawn into the recesses and straddle that junction thereby maintaining the locked condition.

The apparatus is a removable security flat bar that ties the entry door to the door frame support behind the wall coverings. Most dead bolts and latches only go through the door jacket not into support members. Two lag bolts are screwed into the door frame supports through the wall on the latch side, the top bolt being same height of the top of the door knob base the other bolt 1 inch down, leaving the heads of the bolts out far enough for the flat bar to slide freely. The apparatus has two notches one the size of the lag bolts the other large enough to slide over the base of a standard door knob. The apparatus come with a spacer block to be installed on the flat bar to make up the difference for the door trim. It comes with its own knob for easy removal and installing of apparatus.
