Concealed anti-tamper device

A concealed anti-tamper device to prevent unauthorized opening and tampering with a manufactured product includes a shell, an anti-dismantling structure concealed in the shell, and at least one key. The shell defines a through hole and a slot. The anti-dismantling structure includes anti-dismantling hook module with hook, driving module, and resetting component anti-dismantling hook module. The anti-dismantling hook module is movable within the shell, and when the product is to be locked, the separate key rotates the driving module, which drives the hook of the anti-dismantling hook module to embed in the slot. The key is rotated in the opposite direction to unlock, until the driving module separates from the anti-dismantling hook module, and the resetting component separates the hook from the slot by the restoring force of a spring.

A multi-key lock core includes a housing, a driving cylinder, a plurality of circular lock plates, and a lock rod. The driving cylinder is disposed in the housing, a sidewall of the driving cylinder is provided with a penetration portion, and the driving cylinder is rotatable to the penetration portion to correspond to an engagement recessed portion. The circular lock plates are disposed in the driving cylinder and each include an outer edge provided with a first recessed portion, and the outer edge of at least one of the circular lock plates is further provided with a second recessed portion. The lock rod is disposed in the penetration portion, and may partially enter the engagement recessed portion to restrict rotation of the driving cylinder. A first key may push the circular lock plates to rotate to the first recessed portion to correspond to the penetration portion, so that the lock rod can move to partially enter the first recessed portion and detach from the engagement recessed portion. The second key may push the circular lock plates to rotate to the second recessed portion and the first recessed portion to correspond to the penetration portion, so that the lock rod can move to partially enter the second recessed portion and the first recessed portion and detach from the engagement recessed portion.

A method for securing and/or locking an object, and a related system, the method including introducing into a key receiver a metal key element that is provided along its longitudinal direction at least in part with at least one first code, reading of the at least one first code by at least one reader unit in the key receiver, rotating the at least one metal key element in and in relation to the key receiver by a user, therein producing a relative rotary movement, detecting the relative rotary movement, converting the relative rotary movement as detected into a display signal that is variable with rotation, communicating the display signal to a display, interactively setting a further code on the display by the user, by rotating the at least one metal key element, and actuating the securing and/or locking and unlocking of the object in dependence on the further code.

A KEY FOR CONTROLLING A LOCK WITH A CYLINDRICAL PLUG AND A LOCK FOR VALIDATING THIS KEY
20200224454 · 2020-07-16 ·

A key for controlling a lock with a cylindrical plug, where the body of its shank (10) is at least in a part of its length formed by a hollow, partially enclosed profile, the external rounded surface of which (16) is shaped for turning the key in the lock cavity, while at least in the end part (12) of the lateral section of the shank (10), an open cavity is created for inserting an arm of the validating lever (5) of the lock. At least a part of the shank (10) is created in the U- or V-shape, while in at least one such part of the shank (10), the bottom and/or the wall of the inner and outer arch of the shank (10) is fitted with at least one open coding track (9) and/or at least one coding channel (18) with a shaped coding surface. The lock for validating the key contains at least one cylindrical plug (1) rotatable in its housing (2), where in the plug body (1), a sprung sidebar (3) of the lock is situated in its outer longitudinal groove, pushed to the inner surface of the housing (2). The sidebar (3) is adapted for inserting into the turning validating levers (5) that are arranged in a row in the longitudinal axis of the plug (1) on the pivot in the plug (1) and they are located in the lateral slots (6) along the plug's (1) length. These validating levers (5) are in case of incorrect coding of the key (11) in a blocked functional state in a position preventing the inserting of the sidebar (3) into the groove (23) in the plug (1), and thus the turning of the plug (1) inside the housing (2) of the lock, while in the unblocked state in case of correct coding of the key (11), they are in the functional position allowing for the movement of the sidebar (3) in the direction into the groove (23) in the plug (1) and thus the turning of the plug (1) inside the housing (2) of the lock. The validating levers (5) at least partially protrude into the cavity of the key (11), by which they allow for achieving contact between the validating levers (5) and code carriers, which are the coding tracks (9) or channels (18) in the key (11).

Method of securing and screening luggage with locks that the TSA and similar entity can open to screen travelers' luggage and dual-function locks used in the method, wherein the method comprises using first locks that the screening entity can open with a first master key and have the same traveler-operated portions, second locks that open with a second master key that is different from the first master key and have traveler-operated portions that differ from one second lock to another, and third locks that open with a third master key that differs from the first and second master keys and at least a portion of each third lock is permanently mounted to luggage of a selected brand only, wherein all first, second, and third locks have the same indicia identifying them as locks that the screening entity can open without breaking them or luggage.

Rack component latches

Latching components for retaining rack component cases within server racks are described. In one example, a latching component is installed at an interior surface of a rack component case. The latching component includes a protrusion. The latching component is biased in a locked position in which the protrusion is outside the rack component case. The latching component is moveable from the locked position to an unlocked in which the protrusion is removed from outside the rack component case using an unlatching component.

Tubular lock for push locking

A tubular lock for push locking has a lock housing, a switching handle mounted in a front end portion of the lock housing, an upper pin seat and a lower pin seat mounted in the lock housing and the switching handle, and multiple pin assemblies and a core shaft mounted in the upper pin seat and the lower pin seat. A key is only needed when unlocking the tubular lock, and then the tubular lock can be locked by pushing the core shaft. The tubular lock can be used to latch a pivotal mechanism. When the tubular lock is in an unlocking state, the user can switch the latch to the locking angular position or an unlocking angular position by turning the switching handle without using the key. Therefore, flexibility and convenience in using the tubular lock can be efficiently improved.

Safety trapped key interlock system
10392834 · 2019-08-27 · ·

A trapped key interlock system is disclosed. A pair of hollow tubular casings located one inside the other and each having a series of elongate slots are used. When the lock is in a locked condition the elongate slots are aligned as inner and outer pairs with engaging members extending through the pairs of slots is preventing rotational movement of the tubular casings relative to each other. The engaging members are biased towards this locked condition. On insertion of the correctly coded key the engaging members are caused to move against the biasing force out of engagement with the slots in the outer tubular casing thereby allowing the inner tubular casing to rotate relative to the outer tubular casing and moving the lock to an unlocked condition.
