An escape device formed as a small elongated stainless steel metal body having a first end and a second end. The first end comprises a key bow and a folding mechanism adjacent to the key bow. The folding mechanism attaches to a knife blade and permits up to 180 of rotation by the knife when in an open configuration. The second end comprises a tubular cross section and an extending bit to fit into a key post of a standard pair of handcuffs and engage the locking mechanism. A longitudinal recess in the elongated body cab receive the folded knife blade so as to fit flush with the longitudinal recess to be fully retained and concealed. The elongated metal body further comprises decorative visual elements.

Key and lock

A key including at least one coding cavity (55) defining a hollow geometry for coding the key. The geometry includes at least one internal undercut (60a, 60b). The lock for validating a key comprises blocking means (21, 22) coupled to a driving part (14) and validating means (25, 26) which are coupled to the blocking means so as to change the state of the blocking means when the key used with the lock has a correct coding. The validating means (25, 26) protrude at least partially into the key cavity of the lock in order to introduce the validating means at least partially into the coding cavity (55) of the key and to sense the inner face of the coding cavity.

DUAL-RING TUBULAR LOCK ASSEMBLY

A dual-ring tubular lock assembly is provided. Inner and outer walls of a key are formed with inner-ring and outer-ring notches. A lock cylinder is inserted in a central through hole of a lock housing. A front end of the lock cylinder is formed with a tubular keyhole. The tubular keyhole is formed with inner-ring and outer-ring grooves corresponding to the inner-ring and outer-ring notches and mounted with inner-ring and outer-ring key pins. A rear end of the lock cylinder passes through a central perforation of a lower bead seat and extends out of the lock housing. The lower bead seat is fixed in the center through hole. The lower bead seat is formed with inner-ring and outer-ring holes corresponding to the inner-ring and outer-ring grooves and mounted with inner-ring and outer-ring driver pins and springs. The latch is fixed to the rear end of the lock cylinder.

A lock (1) is described, comprising: a body (2) suitable to define a housing (3) having a longitudinal development direction (L) along an insertion direction (I) of a key (200), said housing (3) comprising a first portion (4) and a second portion (5) mutually adjacent along the longitudinal development direction (L) of the body (2); a first rotor (37) suitable to be rotationally housed within the first portion (4) of said housing (3) of such body (2) about the longitudinal development direction (L) of the body (2), said first rotor (37) being suitable to define a further housing (38); a second rotor (39) comprising a first portion (55) suitable to be rotationally housed within the second portion (5) of said housing (3) of the body (2) about the longitudinal development direction (L) of such body (2), said second rotor (39) comprising a second portion (56) suitable to be rotationally housed within the further housing (38) defined by the first rotor (37) about the longitudinal development direction (L) of such body (2). The second rotor (39), by the insertion of the key (200), is suitable to translate along the longitudinal development direction (L) of the body (2) with respect to the first rotor (37). The second rotor (39), by a first rotation portion of the key (200), is suitable to rotate about the longitudinal development direction (L) of the body (2) with respect to the first rotor (37), to pass from a disengagement position to an engagement position with said first rotor (37). In the engagement position, said first rotor (37) and said second rotor (39), by a second portion of rotation of the key (200), are suitable to integrally translate along the longitudinal development direction (L) of the body (2) to reach an actuating position of the lock (1).

A magnetic unlocking device and a magnetic unlocking structure of a magnetic encoding key. The magnetic unlocking structure includes a lock core device and a magnetic unlocking device. The lock core device includes a lock core casing, a lock knob which is provided in the internal cavity of the lock core casing, a lock care front end cover and a lock core rear end cover that are located at both ends of the lock core casing. The internal wall of the lock core casing is provided with a monad longitudinal moving groove and a monad horizontal rotating groove. The lock knob is provided with an unlocking hole. The external wall of the lock knob is provided with a monad longitudinal slide-way. The monad longitudinal slide-way and the monad longitudinal moving groove correspond to each other and form a monad moving cavity.

Food freezer locks and keys having safety features for preventing child entrapment

A tubular lock and its operating key have safety features that render the lock and key well suited for use with food freezer appliances and the like where the keyway of the lock extends horizontally. The tubular portion of the operating key, and the keyway of the tubular lock are cooperatively configured so a key inserted into the keyway of the lock fits quite loosely and is minimally supported even when fully inserted. The graspable bow of the operating key is made unusually long causing the center of gravity of an inserted operating key to be spaced far from the front face of the lockso the weight of the loosely fitting and minimally supported operating key levers the graspable bow downwardly, causing the key to drop from the keyway unless being held in the keyway. Gravity is optimally used to effect key ejection.
