A lock includes a housing, a cylindrical core body and a tumbler unit. The core body is rotatably mounted in the housing, and includes a core axle, and a core tube sleeved on the core axle. The core axle has a helical keyway. The tumbler unit includes a housing pin hole formed in the housing, a tube through hole formed through the core tube, a pin assembly movably mounted in the housing pin hole and the tube through hole, a hole-defining surface defining the tube through hole and having a shoulder surface portion, and a resilient member disposed in the housing and resiliently biasing the pin assembly to abut against the shoulder surface portion and extend into the helical keyway.

Locking system, key and key blank

A locking system comprises a lock cylinder which has a cylinder housing, a cylinder core rotatably supported in the cylinder housing and having a keyway, and has a plurality of tumblers which partly project into the keyway, and which furthermore comprises a key which has a key bow and a key shaft which has a shaft profile for acting on the tumblers. An abutment section is formed at the key shaft between the key bow and the shaft profile, said abutment section having an abutment profile having at least one projection and an undercut formed between the projection and the shaft profile. The lock cylinder furthermore comprises a movable counter-abutment. In this respect, the abutment section of the key and the movable counter-abutment of the lock cylinder are arranged and configured such that, on an introduction of the key into the keyway, the abutment section abuts the movable counter-abutment with at least one abutment surface within the keyway and in so doing forms the only active abutment formed at the key for limiting the introduction of the key into the keyway to a correct axial introduction depth.

Lock

A tumbler for positioning in a bore perpendicular to a keyway in a lock for selectively engaging a feature of a key within the keyway, wherein the tumbler comprises a male part that interlocks with a female part about a compressed spring; the male part having retaining teeth for selectively engaging an inner notch or an outer notch of the female part, such that when the retaining teeth engage the outer notch, the tumbler has a first configuration with an uncompressed overall length and on compression assumes a second configuration wherein the teeth of the male part engage the inner notch in the female section so that the overall length of the lock component is reduced, the change being irreversible.

Rekeyable lock

A rekeyable lock includes a cylinder, a plug and a blocker. The cylinder includes a main body, an accommodation hole and a through hole penetrating through the main body and communicating with the accommodation hole. The plug is rotatably disposed in the accommodation hole. The blocker is movably disposed in the accommodation hole and includes a block portion and a position portion connecting with each other. The block portion is located between the main body and the plug. The position portion protrudes outside the accommodation hole via the through hole and positioned on a steady portion of the main body. The bottom pins can be removed from or blocked in the plug by the blocker for key replacement, and the position of the block portion can be easily adjusted by the position portion protruding outside the accommodation hole for rapidly replacing the bottom pins.

A two-dimensionally driven lock and key are provided. The two-dimensionally driven lock has a lock core having sliders and a block. The sliders are movably and rotatably mounted in the lock core. Each slider has a recessed portion and a non-circular positioning portion. The block has protrusion portions selectively received in the recessed portions. The key has positioning dimples identical to the positioning portion in shape. When the key is inserted into the lock core, the positioning portions match to the positioning dimples respectively and the protrusion portions face to the recessed portions. An unlocking method includes inserting a key into a lock core to make the recessed portion and the protrusion portion face and align to each other by moving and rotating the sliders. Therefore, a location of the recessed portion can vary on the slider in two dimensions, and thus making ulocking very difficult.
