A single actuating device is also in the housing and is controlled by an electrical signal. It is arranged to operate on the first and second keepers and is moveable in the housing between two positions. One or more mode control screws can be included that engages the actuating device through the housing and are movable between at least two screw positions. The movement of the screw causing movement of the actuating device between its device positions, wherein one of the positions results in operation of the strike in fail-safe mode, and the other of the positions results in operation of the strike in fail-secure mode.
Latch module, a hinge module and an appliance using the same
A latch module includes a latch including a hook for engaging with a pin, a spring that applies a force to move the latch in a first direction; and a motor to pivot the latch. The hook is opened at a front end toward the first direction that opens to an engaging surface provided in the hook for engaging with the pin and the engaging surface includes a disengaging inclined surface that is disposed at a front end portion of the hook and a secure lock surface that is disposed behind the disengaging inclined surface. The disengaging inclined surface has an inclined surface inclined in the first direction and the secure lock surface has an inclined surface inclined in a second direction opposite the first direction. In a first basic position of the latch, the disengaging inclined surface of the hook is positioned to engage with the pin. In a second basic position of the latch, the engaging surface of the hook is positioned to release the pin. In a third basic position of the latch, the secure lock surface of the hook is positioned to engage with the pin.
Lock state monitoring apparatus, method, lock driving apparatus and lock assembly
A lock state monitoring apparatus, a method, a lock driving apparatus and a lock assembly. The lock state monitoring apparatus includes: a rheostat and a first load, where a movable contact end of the rheostat is connected with a first end of the first load, and a first fixed end of the rheostat and a second end of the first load are configured to bear a first voltage; the movable contact end of the rheostat is configured to be connected with an output axis of a drive motor in the lock; the first fixed end and the movable contact end of the rheostat, or two ends of the first load, are configured to be connected with a main control board in the lock to output a first voltage signal to the main control board, so that the main control board determines a lock state according to the first voltage signal.
STORAGE DEVICE FOR THEFT-PROOF STORAGE OF VALUABLE ARTICLES
This document discloses a storage device for theft-proof storage of valuable articles, comprising a cabinet, having at least one drawer space, a safe drawer, which is received in the drawer space, a safe housing, comprising side walls and a top wall connecting the side walls, wherein the safe drawer is slidably connected to the safe housing and wherein the safe housing is mounted to the cabinet in the drawer space, a locking member, which is movably connected to the safe drawer or to the safe housing, an actuator, which is operatively connected to the locking member, for controlling a movement of the locking member, and a controller, which is operatively connected to the actuator, and which is configured to control the actuator. The controller is configured for receiving a control signal, based on which the controller is configured to control the actuator. The locking member is movable between a first position, in which the locking member locks safe drawer relative to the cabinet, and a second position, wherein the safe drawer is unlocked relative to the cabinet.
Dual switch rotary latch
A rotary latch mechanism for releasably securing a first structure relative to a second structure. The rotary latch mechanism includes a housing adapted to be attached to the first structure, an actuator assembly coupled to the housing, a linkage coupled to the actuator assembly and arranged for movement along the housing with movement of the actuator assembly, and a bolt coupled to the housing and to the linkage, the bolt arranged for pivotal movement relative to the housing with movement of the linkage. The bolt is adapted to move between a latched position engaged with the second structure to secure the first structure relative to the second structure and an unlatched position spaced apart from the second structure to allow movement of the first structure relative to the second structure.
Interconnected door lock
An interconnection assembly includes a chassis, and cam plates that are rotatably coupled to the chassis to pivot about a plurality of rotational axises. An upper cam plate is operatively coupled to a deadbolt. The upper cam plate has a cam surface. A lower cam plate is rotatably coupled to the chassis to pivot about a second rotational axis. The lower cam plate is operatively coupled to an interior latch bolt handle. The lower cam plate has a cam slot. A linkage bar is rotatably coupled to the chassis to pivot about a pivot axis. The linkage bar has a first linkage portion having a first cam follower configured to operatively engage the cam surface of the upper cam plate and has a second linkage portion having a second cam follower operatively received in the cam slot of the lower cam plate.
Automatic sliding panel deadbolt lock assembly
A sliding panel deadbolt lock assembly that is associated with a sliding panel that transitions between an open position and a closed position relative to a stationary panel that is coupled to the sliding panel. A sliding panel lock assembly includes a pin that transitions between an engaged position and a retracted position. A first magnetic field sensing device is positioned at the retracted position of the pin when the pin is in the retracted position to enable the sliding panel to transition from the closed position. The first magnetic field sensing device detects a magnetic field generated by a first magnetic field generating device positioned on the pin. The first magnetic field sensing device positioned at the retracted position of the pin is aligned with the first magnetic field generating device positioned on the pin when the pin is in the retracted position.
Door lock system with contact sensor
An intelligent door lock system is coupled to a door at a dwelling. A first sensor is at the dwelling. The first sensor is coupled to a drive shaft of a lock device to assist in locking and unlocking a lock of a lock device at a door. The lock device is coupled to the first sensor and the lock device includes a bolt. An engine, an energy source and a memory are coupled together. A magnetic sensor provides a reading or measurement used to determine a door open or closed status.
