An electromechanical lock includes an electromechanical locking mechanism and a control circuit, wherein an associated counter-piece is locked by way of the locking mechanism. The locking mechanism has a latch, an entrainer that is rotatable about an axis of rotation for driving the latch, and an electric motor for driving the entrainer, wherein the latch is moveable between a locking position and an unlocking position, wherein the latch is preloaded in the direction of the locking position. The entrainer is rotatable into a release position, a standby position, and a blocking position and the latch can is driven to perform a movement into the unlocking position by rotating the entrainer into the release position. In the standby position, the latch is released to be urged back against the preload. In the blocking position, the entrainer blocks the latch against a movement in the direction of the unlocking position.

Cooler lock

A cooler access control system locks a cooler when occurrence of an event is detected that requires limiting access to the inside of the cooler. Examples of such events include the loss of power to the cooler for a predetermined period of time, the opening of the cooler door for longer than an allowed time, the loss of functionality of a temperature probe and others. In an embodiment, a service mode is supported wherein the door is left unlocked despite the occurrence of such an event, to allow a stocker or other personnel to leave the cooler door open while stocking the cooler with product.

The strike plate includes a back face that opposes the door frame and a front face disposed on an opposite side of the strike plate than the back face and opposing an edge of a door when the door is in a closed position. Disclosed are embodiments of a tapered bolt receiver for a door lock to accommodate misalignment, between a deadbolt mounted to a door, and an opposing jamb. The tapered bolt receiver can be configured to accommodate misalignment for a deadbolt having a non-tapered bolt, such as for an electromechanical smart lock having a battery stored within a battery compartment that is integrated with an enhanced bolt. Also disclosed are embodiments of a deadbolt plate pivot assembly that is pivotably mountable to a corresponding deadbolt assembly to define a plate pivot system, to accommodate a beveled door edge. An illustrative embodiment of the deadbolt plate pivot assembly includes opposing plate that captures a hinge assembly, which can include plastic plate hinges, which serve to locate the deadbolt plate pivot assembly with respect to a corresponding bolt housing, and can provide a spring force and/or constant torque when mounted to a beveled door.

In the unlocked mode, the driving member can push the telescopic rod to drive the movable latch assembly to move. Therefore, the problem that the driving assembly must accurately calculate the operating time can be solved and damage to the driving assembly can be prevented.

An electronic lock includes a latch mechanism and a rotation assembly. The rotation assembly includes a rotator, a single sensor and a processor, the rotator can be rotated toward a first direction or a second direction to drive a latch of the latch mechanism to be extended or retracted. The sensor is provided to sense a protrusion, an auxiliary protrusion, a recess and an auxiliary recess of the rotator to output a sensing signal. The processor is electrically connected to the sensor to receive the sensing signal and is provided to distinguish whether an actuation of extension or retraction of the latch is complete according to a potential variation of the sensing signal.

Systems and methods for magnet-equipped locks

The disclosed computer-implemented method may include a magnetic insertable lock component with a magnet-sensing lock housing. By using a magnet within a pin and a magnetic field sensor within the lock housing, the apparatus may accurately detect the state of the lock. In some embodiments, the apparatus may determine the pin is inserted fully into the lock, the pin is inserted partially into the lock, the pin is not inserted in the lock, and/or that a foreign object that is not the pin is inserted into the lock. By using a magnet within the pin to track the state of the lock, the apparatus may improve both the user experience and the security of the lock. Various other methods, systems, and computer-readable media are also disclosed.
