Electronic locking system

An electronic locking system provided with an electronic lock may include a lock detecting part to detect locking condition of the lock; a power outage-detecting part to detect power outage; a charging part to supply electric power to the lock during power outage; a power-supplying part to supply power to the lock and charging part; and a switching part structured such that power is supplied to the lock from the power-supplying part in a primary state, and power is supplied to the electronic lock from said charging part in a secondary state. The switching part is in said primary state during normal operation where no power outage is detected. The switching part is structured such that, when power outage is detected, said switching part is switched from said primary state to said secondary state.

Lamp Safe System

An embodiment can include a lamp safe system that includes an inner casing member and an outer casing member, a base member, a lampshade, a lamp body, and a base member. A inner casing member can move in and out of an outer casing member, and a lamp body member can be placed over and removably attached to an outer casing member. An inner casing member can include two or more walls, and a top surface and a bottom surface. An inner casing member can have attachment points for a lead, screw, a lead screw nut, and guide rails. An inner casing member can have a locking mechanism that can keep the inner casing member inside an outer casing member and lamp body. An outer casing can substantially surround an inner casing. An outer casing can have attachment points for an inner casing member to move in and out of through guide rail supports An inner casing member can move in and out of an outer casing member through a motor rotating a lead screw. An electronic controlling member can have a microcontroller that can be connected to a smart phone and can allow a user to send and receive information from a lamp safe system.

Electronic lock with power failure control circuit

An electronic lock with power failure control circuit includes a lock mechanism having a latchbolt movable between extended and retracted positions and an electrically powered lock actuator to lock and unlock the latchbolt. The power failure control circuit includes a microcontroller and the lock is connected to a primary power source and an auxiliary power source, preferably supercapacitors and charger that can be turned on by the microcontroller and off when the charger signals a full charge. A power monitor circuit detects low voltage on the primary power supply and sets a power failure interrupt causing the microcontroller to execute power failure instructions that control the actuator so that the lock is placed into a desired locked or unlocked final state during the power failure. Upon detection of the return of good power, the system resets the lock.

Locking apparatus, locking member, and method of use

Apparatuses, systems, and methods are provided for restricting movement of an openable object including a body, an actuator, a lifting member, at least a portion of the lifting member being configured to be raised or lowered relative to the body using the actuator to selectively restrict movement of the openable object, and a control circuit including a transceiver configured to receive a requested operation, the control circuit configured to process the requested operation and to control the locking apparatus responsive to the requested operation to place the locking apparatus in a locked or an unlocked state.

There is described a self-powered lock system for a movable member coupled to a lock mechanism having a first state in which the movable member is locked and a second state in which the movable member is unlocked. The system comprises an electrical energy storage device having an electrical charge stored therein, a control unit for controlling the lock mechanism, a trigger unit for triggering an unlocking of the lock mechanism, and a passive detection unit for detecting an activation of the trigger unit. Upon detection of the activation, a conductive path is provided between the control unit and the storage device for powering the control unit with the charge stored in the storage device. The lock mechanism is in turn unlocked by the control unit. A generator coupled to the storage device may then generate electrical energy and store the generated energy in the storage device for future use.
