Load Suspension and Weighing System for a Dialysis Machine Reservoir
A load suspension and weighing system for a removable reservoir unit of a portable dialysis machine includes a centrally located flexure assembly. The flexure assembly includes magnets and a number of flexure rings which allow for movement of the magnets about a fixed circuit board. Sensors in the circuit board sense changes in the magnetic field as the magnets move in relation to the circuit board. The magnetic field changes produce a voltage output which is used by a processor to generate weight calculations. The top of the flexure assembly is attached to the interior of the dialysis machine. The entirety of the reservoir unit is suspended by a first internal frame that is attached to the bottom of the flexure assembly. Having a single flexure assembly positioned above the reservoir unit provides more accurate weight measurements while also preventing damage to the assembly from water spillage.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR TREATMENT OF ACUTE ISCHEMIC STROKE
Described are methods and systems for transcervical access of the cerebral arterial vasculature and treatment of cerebral occlusions, including ischemic stroke. The methods and devices may include methods and devices which may provide aspiration and passive flow reversal, those which protect the cerebral penumbra during the procedure to minimize injury to brain, as well as distal catheters and devices to remove an occlusion. The methods and devices that provide passive flow reversal may also offer to the user a degree of flow control. Devices and methods which provide a way to securely close the access site in the carotid artery to avoid the potentially devastating consequences of a transcervical hematoma are also described.
Systems and methods for treating eye diseases
A method may include accessing a terminal branch of an ophthalmic artery through a face of a subject. Additionally, the method may include positioning a device within the ophthalmic artery of the subject and treating at least one of a blockage, a stenosis, a lesion, plaque or other physiology in at least one of the ophthalmic artery or a junction between an internal carotid artery and the ophthalmic artery.

The apparatus also includes a control apparatus that controls the signaling device based on the component operation to be performed, with the control by the control apparatus being independent of an operator request.

In at least one embodiment of a system for providing a retroperfusion therapy to a venous vessel of the present disclosure, the system comprises a catheter for controlling blood perfusion pressure, the catheter comprising a body having a proximal open end, a distal end, a lumen extending between the proximal open end and the distal end, and a plurality of orifices disposed thereon, each of the orifices in fluid communication with the lumen, and at least one expandable balloon, each of the at least one expandable balloons coupled with the body, having an interior that is in fluid communication with the lumen, and adapted to move between an expanded configuration and a deflated configuration, and a flow unit for regulating the flow and pressure of a bodily fluid, and a regional hypothermia system operably coupled to the catheter, the regional hypothermia system operable to reduce and/or regulate a temperature of the bodily fluid flowing therethrough.
Methods and systems for treatment of acute ischemic stroke
Described are methods and systems for transcervical access of the cerebral arterial vasculature and treatment of cerebral occlusions, including ischemic stroke. The methods and devices may include methods and devices which may provide aspiration and passive flow reversal, those which protect the cerebral penumbra during the procedure to minimize injury to brain, as well as distal catheters and devices to remove an occlusion. Methods and systems for treatment of acute ischemic stroke
Described are methods for performing a medical procedure at a treatment site in a cerebral vessel of a patient. The methods include positioning a system of devices into an advancement configuration, the system including a catheter and an inner member sized and shaped to slide within the catheter lumen. The inner member defines a single lumen and has a distal portion, the distal portion having a first outer diameter that tapers distally to a second outer diameter that is smaller than the first outer diameter. When positioned in the advancement configuration, the inner member extends coaxially through the catheter lumen and the distal portion of the inner member is positioned distal to the distal end of the catheter. The method further includes advancing the system of devices distal to a petrous portion of an internal carotid artery while the system of devices is positioned in the advancement configuration.
Blood magnetic stimulation device
A blood magnetic stimulation device includes a magnetic stimulation unit that has a stimulating coil for being connected to a blood delivering unit or directly worn by a user. The stimulating coil is further connected to a pulse-generating unit that outputs a pulse current to excite the stimulating coil, so as to use electromagnetic pulses to apply strong yet transient magnetic stimulation to blood passing through the magnetic stimulation unit or to blood in the user's subcutaneous vessels, thereby providing magnetic treatment for viremian and related diseases. As compared to the existing blood treating devices, the magnetic stimulation provided by the blood magnetic stimulation device incurs no sharp pain and uncomfortableness, and is safer and more acceptable to patients.
