Sliding Door Locking System
A sliding door locking system includes a sliding door having an inner surface that slides over a doorway opening when the door is slidably mounted above the doorway opening, and an outer surface. A lock housing is mounted in the sliding door, the housing having an aperture extending through the inner surface of the sliding door. A latch is hingedly mounted in the aperture such that the latch is moveable from a retracted position, in which the door is slidable along the door opening, and an extended position, in which the latch engages a catch opposite the inner surface of the door and adjacent the doorway opening. At least one of the inner and outer surfaces of the sliding door includes an actuator that, when moved from a first position to a second position, moves the latch from the retracted position to the extended position.
Multi-point locking system
Fenestration systems and associated methods include use of a lock assembly having a housing, a cam gear, a reversal gear, and one or more catches. Various aspects relate to enhanced locking/security, including repeatability and overall efficacy.
LOCK CAPABLE OF LOCKING MOVABLE DOOR
A lock capable of locking a movable door includes a lock shell having opening parts, and hook tongues extending out of the opening parts. The lock further includes lock tongue support frames, lock tongue reset springs, left and right first guide grooves, and shifting blocks. The lock tongue support frames are movably disposed on the lock shell and combined with shaft pins. The hook tongues have lower shaft holes and rotatably sleeve the shaft pins via the lower shaft holes. Each lock tongue reset springs has one free end combined with the lock tongue support frames, and another one free end combined with the hook tongues. The left and right first guide grooves are symmetrically-arranged and correspond to the shaft pins. Two ends of the shaft pins respectively extending into the left and right first guide grooves. The shaft pins drive the hook tongues to move to be unhooked or locked when the lock tongue support frames move to drive the shaft pins to move along the left and right first guide grooves. Axial centers of the shifting blocks have center holes that allow shifting sheets to be inserted therein. The lock tongue support frames are able to move back and forth to respond to rotation of shifting handles on the shifting blocks when the shifting blocks rotate.

LOCKING DEVICE FOR A DOOR
The invention relates to a locking device (1) for a door, in particular for a sliding door (10), comprising at least one door leaf (11). The locking device has a housing part (2) and a locking element (5) which is held by the housing part (2) and which is used to lock and unlock the at least one door leaf (11) in a closed or open position. The locking element (5) can be slid along a sliding direction (V) and can be tilted about a rotational axis (R1) relative to the housing part (2) in order to allow the at least one door leaf (11) to be locked and unlocked alternatively by both sliding as well as by tilting the locking element (5). The invention additionally relates to a door, in particular a sliding door (10), comprising such a locking device (1).
LIFT GLIDE DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY & LIFT GLIDE WINDOW LOCK ASSEMBLY
Hardware for a lift glide door assembly and lift glide window assembly provides ease of opening with an operational opening assist that urges the door or window to an open position on operation of an opening handle. A lock mechanism actuates a lock pin, blocks opening gear mechanisms from operating and extends a security bolt for locking. A guide blade is provided for assisting the door during opening or closing operations.
Tool operated channel latch
The present disclosure includes a tool operated channel latch used to secure a panel against a structure. The latch includes a bracket which mounts to a movable panel and includes an actuating mechanism to open and close the latch. A bolt is pivotably retained relative to the bracket for engaging against the structure closed by the panel. A lock assembly is carried on the actuator to engage a link which is movably coupled with both the bolt and the actuator. The lock assembly includes extending portions to engage at least one corresponding opening of the link. The link provides an over center toggle condition to retain the latch in a locked position until intentionally actuated by an operator.
