A cabinet (1) comprising: a housing (10); two or more storage units (30, 50), each accommodated within the housing (10) and displaceable between a closed position in which a majority of the storage unit (30, 50) is disposed within the housing (10) and an open position in which the storage unit (30, 50) projects from the housing (10) to an extent greater than in said closed position; and a blocking mechanism (70) comprising two or more blocking members (71b, 71c), each associated with its corresponding storage unit (30, 50) and configured for selectively arresting said corresponding storage unit (30, 50) in its closed position; the blocking mechanism (70) being displaceable between an unblocked state in which each one of the storage units (30, 50) is free to be displaced from its closed position to its open position and a blocked state in which at least one and no more than all but one of the storage units (30, 50) are arrested in their closed position by their corresponding blocking members (71b, 71c). The association between the blocking mechanism (70) and the storage units (30, 50) is such that, when said blocking mechanism (70) is in its unblocked position, displacement of one of said storage units (30, 50) from its closed position to its open position induces displacement of the blocking mechanism (70) from its unblocked state to its blocked state.

An anti-toppling drawer chest comprises a plurality of drawers arranged on a chest body. An anti-toppling interlocking mechanism is arranged between the side wall of the chest body and the drawers and comprises fixing pieces, a sliding rod and stop blocks, wherein the fixing pieces are installed on the side wall of the chest body, the sliding rod is installed between the fixing pieces and the side wall of the chest body, the stop blocks are installed on the side walls of the drawers, oblique slideways are arranged on the stop blocks, and the sliding rod and clamping tenons slide along the oblique slideways when the drawers are pulled out and pushed back. According to the anti-toppling drawer chest of the invention, the function that a single drawer is pulled out and the other drawers are locked is achieved.

The cabinet 1 has a base 3 that defines an opening 7, which is sized to receive the tynes of a lifting device, such as a fork lift of the like, for example. This facilitates transportation of the entire cabinet 1. The cabinet 1 has nine drawers 8, each having formations, in the form of a pair of slots 10 and 11, which are adapted for engagement with the tynes. Once the tynes have been inserted, the lifting device operator may then raise the tynes slightly, thereby supporting the drawer 8 on the tynes. The lifting device operator can then remove the drawer 8 that is being supported by the tynes from the cabinet 1.

Slide rail assembly with interlock device

A slide rail assembly includes a supporting rail, a first rail, a second rail, and an interlock device. The second rail can be displaced with respect to the first rail. The interlock device is movably disposed between the first rail and the supporting rail. The second rail displaces the interlock device while being displaced from a retracted position with respect to the first rail to a predetermined position in an opening direction.

FURNITURE ASSEMBLY AND INTERLOCK KIT THEREOF

A furniture assembly is provided and includes a cabinet body, a drawer and an interlock kit. The interlock kit includes a first fitting member, a second fitting member and an interlock mechanism. The first fitting member is detachably mounted on the cabinet body and has a first predetermined height. The second fitting member is detachably mounted on the drawer and has a second predetermined height. A predetermined gap is defined by a difference between the first predetermined height and the second predetermined height. The interlock mechanism is arranged on the first fitting member. The second fitting member can always be moved by the drawer to cause the interlock mechanism to be operated normally as along as the second fitting member is mounted at a position within a mounting range defined by the predetermined gap and a position of the first fitting member. Besides, a related interlock kit is also provided.

Slide rail mechanism

A slide rail mechanism includes a first slide rail assembly, a second slide rail assembly, a third slide rail assembly and a locking member. An opening movement of a second rail of the first slide rail assembly with respect to a first rail of the first slide rail assembly drives the locking member from a first predetermined position to a second predetermined position, and an opening movement of a second rail of the second slide rail assembly with respect to a first rail of the second slide rail assembly drives the locking member from the second predetermined position to a third predetermined position. The locking member at the third predetermined position blocks the third working member for preventing an opening movement of a second rail of the third slide rail assembly with respect to a first rail of the third slide rail assembly.
