G-sensor for automobile tray
A G-sensor for an automobile tray, and more particularly, a G-sensor for an automobile tray wherein a G-sensor for preventing a tray cover from being opened by an external force generated when the vehicle travels is modularized. The G sensor includes a lever configured to rotate around a hinge shaft, a slider coupled to the lever and guided along a key hole according to the state of rotation of the lever, a weight coupled to the lever for endowing a rotational moment of the lever around the hinge shaft, and a spring to provide the lever with power such that the same returns to the original condition.
Motor vehicle lock with crash element
A motor-vehicle lock has a latch mechanism, catch, has and an actuating lever, of which the actuation from a starting position into an actuating position makes it possible to disengage the catch, wherein the motor-vehicle lock has a crash element, which can be adjusted from a normal state into a crash state, in which the crash element blocks the actuating lever in a blocking position or uncouples it from the catch, wherein the crash element is coupled to the actuating lever such that, when the actuating lever is actuated at an actuating speed above a limit actuating speed, the crash element latches in the crash state. With the crash element latched in the crash state, a restoring action of the actuating lever into the starting position causes the latching action to be reversed and the crash element to be adjusted into the normal state.

MOTOR VEHICLE LOCK, IN PARTICULAR MOTOR VEHICLE SIDE DOOR LOCK
A motor vehicle lock, in particular a motor vehicle side door lock, which is equipped with a locking mechanism composed, essentially, of a rotary latch and a pawl. Also comprising an actuating lever for the locking mechanism and a release lever for the pawl. Both levers can be coupled and uncoupled to/from each other by means of a coupling lever. A mass inertia element which uncouples the coupling lever at least in the event of a crash is also provided. According to the invention, the clutch lever is actuated in normal operation at least slightly with respect to its bearing whenever the actuating lever is acted upon.

STORAGE COMPARTMENTS HAVING INERTIA FORCE CLOSURE MECHANISMS, CONSOLE ASSEMBLIES, AND VEHICLES INCORPORATING THE SAME
A storage compartment includes a housing, a lid, a locking mechanism, and a closure mechanism. The lid is pivotally coupled to the housing about a pivot axis for movement between a closed position and an opened position. The locking mechanism is displaceable in a first direction to move between an unlocked position and a locked position, the first direction extending generally normal to the pivot axis. The closure mechanism is configured to inhibit movement of the lid from the closed position towards the opened position upon movement of the locking mechanism to the unlocked position due to movement of the housing in the first direction with respect to the lid.
Locking system for a door leaf of a motor vehicle comprising a handle of the flush type
A locking system for a motor vehicle door leaf includes a door leaf and a handle of the flush type that has at least one bracket, a gripping lever, a transmission lever, a first reversible inertial safety system, and a second irreversible inertial safety system.

Vehicle interior component
A vehicle interior component is disclosed. The component may comprise a cover moveable relative to a base and a latch mechanism to provide an unlatched state for the cover and a latched state when actuated by an external/inertia force (e.g. in an event such as a rollover). The latch mechanism may comprise a latch/member extending through an opening in the cover into the base when the cover is closed and retracted into the cover when the cover is open. When the cover is closed, the latch mechanism may provide an unlatched state with the latch in an intermediate position (for an occupant's ordinary use) and a latched state with the latch fully extended to engage a catch in the base (upon the event providing the external force to prevent the cover opening). The component may comprise a console providing a storage compartment or an armrest.
