ACTUATION DEVICE FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE LOCK
20180274268 · 2018-09-27 ·

The aim of the invention is to provide an actuation device for a lock of a motor vehicle, said actuation device allowing a plurality of functions without requiring a large number of parts and/or a complex and/or voluminous structure. This is achieved in that the actuation device according to the claims for opening a locking mechanism (3, 4) of a motor vehicle lock comprises an anti-theft device, a central locking device, and a childproof lock device. A multifunction coupling lever (9) is provided which is capable of opening a locking mechanism (3, 5) of a motor vehicle lock by means of an opening movement. The opening movement of the multifunction coupling lever (9) can be prevented by the anti-theft device, the central locking device, and the childproof lock device. Thus, an actuation device is provided which is capable of performing a plurality of functions while comprising few components. Because only a few components are required, the structural complexity can be low.

Automotive vehicle with an anti-crash apparatus

An automotive vehicle has multiple doors and an anti-crash apparatus having a handle unit, a sensing unit, an engaging unit, and a control unit. The handle unit has handles mounted on the doors. The sensing unit has sensing elements respectively mounted on doors and being adjacent to the handles. The engaging unit has multiple engaging elements respectively disposed on the doors and opposite to the handle, and each one of the engaging elements is capable of engaging the handle. The control unit has a timer and an operator connected to the timer, the sensing unit, and the engaging unit. Therefore, before users open the doors, the anti-crash apparatus enforces the users to check the approaching vehicles by delaying the opening time of the doors and improve the safety.

ELECTRONIC HANDLE FOR A VEHICLE DOOR
20180195319 · 2018-07-12 · ·

A handle for a vehicle door is provided. The handle includes a fixed part, a grip lever being moveable according to a grip axis between at least an active position in which the rotation of the grip lever activates the opening of the door, and a rest position in which the grip lever does not rotate, an electronic active position, in which the grip lever activates an electronic unlatching of the door. A blocking element is moveable between a blocking position in which the grip lever is inhibited from rotating from the electronic active position to the mechanical active position and an unblocking position in which the grip lever is free to be moved to the mechanical active position. The present disclosure further relates to a corresponding vehicle that includes the handle.

PRESSURE DIFFERENTIAL LOCKOUT SYSTEM AND CALIBRATION METHOD
20240376751 · 2024-11-14 ·

A pressure differential lockout system for a door separating first and second regions comprises a piston assembly, a follower linkage, and a fluid conduit. The follower linkage is mechanically coupled with a latch release handle of the door. The piston assembly includes a piston and a piston housing collectively defining an interior chamber. The fluid conduit provides fluid communication between the first region and the interior chamber. The piston is translatable along a translation axis relative to the piston housing responsive to a pressure differential between the interior chamber and the second region. The piston defines a channel that is parallel to the translation axis and that accommodates a follower component of the follower linkage. The channel inhibits rotation of the follower linkage within a first translation range of the piston and enables rotation of the follower linkage within a second translation range of the piston.

VEHICLE DOOR OPERATING DEVICE

A vehicle door operating device includes an opening inside lever connected to an inside handle in a door inside a vehicle, a childproof lock lever that moves between a childproof unlock position and a childproof lock position; a switch lever, a childproof sensor and a single engagement pin. When the childproof lock lever is in the childproof lock position, opening action of the inside handle cannot be transmitted to a door latch device, but can be transmitted to the switch lever. When the childproof lock lever is in the childproof unlock position, releasing action of the opening inside lever can be transmitted to door latch devices for holding a door closed via a single engagement pin, but cannot be transmitted to the switch lever. When the childproof lock lever is in the childproof lock position, the releasing action of the opening inside lever cannot be transmitted to the door latch device via the engagement pin, but can be transmitted to the switch lever.

VEHICLE DOOR OPENING AND CLOSING APPARATUS

A vehicle door opening and closing apparatus includes: an input lever configured to rotate when door opening operation is performed on an inside door handle arranged inside a vehicle; and an output lever rotatably arranged on a base plate. By transmission of rotation of the input lever to the output lever when the input lever rotates along with the door opening operation on the inside door handle, a latch unit provided between a vehicle body and a door performs release operation to allow opening movement of the door with respect to the vehicle body. A sub plate is arranged on the base plate in a form of covering the baseplate, an input support shaft for supporting the inside door handle is rotatably arranged on the sub plate, and the input lever is arranged on the input support shaft so as to integrally rotate with the input support shaft.

ELECTRONIC INTERIOR DOOR RELEASE SYSTEM

A powered door latch may be actuated by a capacitive sensor or by movement of a mechanical release device. A controller may be utilized to prevent unlatching of the powered latch unless the vehicle is in Park and/or certain operating conditions are present.

Safety assembly for preventing opening of a vehicle lock under predefined vehicle conditions

The disclosure relates to a safety assembly for preventing the opening of a trunk lock under predefined vehicle conditions, having a transmission element which is engaged by an interior-side actuating element and a trunk-side actuating element and which is coupled to a trunk lock, wherein a latch is provided which is adjustable between an actuating position, in which an actuating force can be transmitted from at least one of the actuating elements to the trunk lock, and a blocking position, in which an actuating force is not transmitted to the trunk lock, the latch having a gearing and a brushless electric motor associated with it, by means of which the latch can be transferred between the actuating position and the blocking position. The disclosure further relates to a method of controlling a latch of a safety assembly.

Electronic interior door release system

A powered door latch may be actuated by a capacitive sensor or by movement of a mechanical release device. A controller may be utilized to prevent unlatching of the powered latch unless the vehicle is in Park and/or certain operating conditions are present.
