An activation device for at least two spatially separated motor vehicle closure units, for example for a tailgate latch on the one hand and a fuel filler door latch on the other hand. The activation device possesses a linear drive with a linear actuator. Dependent on its activation direction, the linear drive impinges either the first motor vehicle closure unit or the other second motor vehicle closure unit. According to the invention, dependent on its actuating direction, the linear actuator impinges at least a pivotable activation lever to interact with either the first motor vehicle closure unit or the other second motor vehicle closure unit.

DOOR SYSTEM FOR MOTOR VEHICLES PROVIDING POWER PRESENT AND HOLD FUNCTIONS AND EQUIPPED WITH A CLOSURE LATCH ASSEMBLY HAVING A POWER RELEASE AND SAFETY CATCH ARRANGEMENT

A door system and related method for a passenger door for a motor vehicle is provided for preventing inadvertent movement of the passenger door from a presented position toward an open position and a closed position until desired. The system includes latch with a safety catch and a door presenter. The latch and door presenter are configured for coordinated movement to allow the door to move from the closed position to the presented position and to be maintained in the presented position. The safety catch blocks the door from moving to the open position, and the door presenter blocks the door from moving to the closed position. Subsequent actuation releases the safety catch or retracts the door presenter to allow the door to open or close from the presented position.

Operating arrangement for at least one motor vehicle latch

An operating arrangement for at least one motor vehicle latch, in particular a flap operating arrangement for two motor vehicle flap latches placed at a distance from one another and provided with a drive train. Furthermore, a lever arrangement interacting with the drive train is provided. Moreover, there is provided at least one transmission attached to the lever arrangement to act upon the at least one motor vehicle latch. The lever arrangement has an operating lever to act upon the transmission and a locking lever that blocks the operating lever at least when in a “locked” position, wherein the drive train works upon the locking lever.

Power actuator with self disengaging clutch unit

A power actuator for a latch of a motor vehicle closure panel has an electric motor to rotate a lead screw about an axis. A nut is disposed about the lead screw for selective translation along the lead screw. A clutch plate is configured for selective rotation about the axis when engaged with the nut, with a biasing member biasing the nut out of engagement with the clutch plate when the electric motor is de-energized. A carrier member is coupled with the nut to cause the nut to translate into engagement with the clutch plate during rotation of the lead screw, whereupon the nut and carrier member co-rotate with the clutch plate and leadscrew. A driven member is operably coupled with the clutch plate and with the latch via a cable/rod, such that the driven member maintains the latch in a cinched state when the electric motor is energized.

Latch assembly for opening and closing luggage room of vehicle

A latch assembly for opening and closing a vehicle luggage room may include: a base installed on an end portion of an opening and closing member to open and close a vehicle luggage room; a power conversion member to convert the rotational force of a drive motor into a linear motion; a claw to grip and restrain the striker when the opening and closing member is closed; a pawl to inhibit the rotation of the claw so that the claw maintains a state of having the striker restrained; an error lever installed to rotate with the pawl and configured to rotate so that the pawl is separated from the claw; and a link member to rotate the claw so that the claw grips the striker, when the power conversion member makes the linear motion.
