MOTOR VEHICLE LOCK, IN PARTICULAR MOTOR VEHICLE DOOR LOCK
A motor vehicle lock, in particular a motor vehicle door lock, which is equipped with an electromotive drive for an actuation lever chain and in particular locking lever chain. An emergency energy store for providing electrical power to the drive in the event of emergency activation and in particular emergency unlocking is also provided. In accordance with the invention, the drive, for emergency actuation and in particular emergency unlocking, acts on the actuation lever chain or locking lever chain against the force of a restoring spring.
LOW POWER AUTHENTICATION AND UNLOCK SYSTEM
The present application generally relates to battery powered door unlock mechanisms. More specifically, the application teaches an unlock system including a door unlock mechanism, a capacitive circuit having a first time response, a resistive-capacitive circuit having a second time response wherein the second time response is longer than the first time response, a battery for coupling a battery charge to the capacitive circuit and the resistive capacitive circuit in response to a door unlock authentication signal, and a relay for coupling a first charge from the capacitive circuit to the door unlock mechanism in response to the relay being activated by a second charge from the resistive-capacitive circuit after the second time response.

FLUSH DOOR HANDLE FOR VEHICLE
A vehicular exterior door handle assembly includes a base portion disposed at a door handle region of a vehicle door. A handle portion is movable relative to the base portion between a recessed position and a deployed position. An actuator includes a motor that is electrically operable to move the handle portion between the recessed position and the deployed position. The actuator includes a position indicating element that indicates at least one position of an output shaft of the motor. Responsive to an input signal, the actuator moves the handle portion between the recessed position and the deployed position. While the actuator moves the handle portion, the position indicating element indicates that the output shaft arrives at one of the at least one positions and the actuator depowers the motor.

Closure latch for vehicle door having bidirectional power release function
The present disclosure relates to a closure latch for a vehicle door, and more particularly to a closure latch for a vehicle door equipped with a passive entry feature. To this end, the present disclosure relates to the use of a bidirectional power release mechanism operable in a first mode to release a latch mechanism under normal operating conditions and which is operable in a second mode to release the latch mechanism under emergency operating conditions.

The present disclosure relates to a closure latch for a vehicle door, and more particularly to a closure latch for a vehicle door equipped with a passive entry feature. To this end, the present disclosure relates to the use of a bidirectional power release mechanism operable in a first mode to release a latch mechanism under normal operating conditions and which is operable in a second mode to release the latch mechanism under emergency operating conditions.
Rechargeable door unlock actuator
A vehicle remote keyless entry system for an electrically actuatable vehicle lock includes a fob comprising a transmitter that is actuatable to transmit an RKE message. A vehicle-based receiver receives the RKE message. A vehicle-based controller operatively connected to the vehicle-based receiver is configured to supply electrical power from a vehicle battery to the vehicle lock to unlock the vehicle lock in response to receiving the RKE message from the vehicle-based receiver. An energy storage device, separate from the vehicle battery, supplies electrical power to actuate the vehicle lock to unlock the vehicle lock when predetermined conditions are met.
VEHICLE DOOR LATCH APPARATUS
Lock mechanism is provided between pawl lever and manual release mean. The present vehicle door latch apparatus includes ratchet member that engages latch and that can be released from latch by release component force F2, latch restraint that prevents ratchet member from being disengaged from latch and powered release means that moves ratchet restraint. Ratchet member includes base lever and pawl lever. When ratchet restraint is moved, base lever is moved to a non-regulated position, where pawl lever can be disengaged from latch by release component force F2. Manual release means is connected to pawl lever. Lock mechanism is provided between pawl lever and manual release means.
