ANTI-REVERSE SEALING LOCK
20190032375 · 2019-01-31 ·

An anti-reverse sealing lock includes a transparent housing having a passage with an opening in a top side of the transparent housing. A locking block is mounted in the passage and includes a locking ring and an anti-reverse member mounted in the passage. The locking ring includes a locking ring hole having an inclined groove receiving a C-shaped ring. The anti-reverse member includes a through-hole. A latch rod includes an insertion section having a first stepped groove and a second stepped groove. The latch rod extends through the opening, the locking ring hole, and the through-hole. The C-shaped ring is retained in the first stepped groove. A peripheral edge of the through-hole at an end of the anti-reverse member abuts against an end wall of the second stepped groove when the latch rod moves in a removal direction, preventing removal of the latch rod.

WIRELESS SECURITY FOR FREIGHT CONTAINER SEALS
20190027069 · 2019-01-24 · ·

Systems and methods can secure freight container seals using electronic sensors. A hardened sensor clamp housing can include one or more sensing portals. The sensor clamp housing can receive a bolt seal through each of the sensing portals. One or more seal sensors may be positioned proximate to the sensing portals to sense a physical characteristic of the inserted bolt seal. This characteristic may be electrical, optical, magnetic, or so forth. The seal sensors can generate an electrical signal associated with cutting or tampering with the inserted bolt seal. The electrical signal can be coupled to a sensor clamp module operable to determine a tamper state of the bolt seal in response to the associated electrical signal. The determined tamper state can be communicated via a sensor clamp wireless module to a container controller or communications gateway.

SECURITY TAGS FOR SHIPPING CONTAINERS
20190024423 · 2019-01-24 ·

A shipping container includes walls, one or more doors, a locking device and a security device. At least one door is movable between an open position and a closed position. The locking device is configured to secure the at least one door in its closed positioned. The locking device defines an opening and includes a first fastener and a second fastener. At least one of the fasteners is attached to the door. The security device is insertable through the opening of the locking device. The security device includes a first wing substantially covering the first fastener and a second wing substantially covering the second fastener to substantially prevent access to the first fastener and the second fastener when the security device is inserted through the opening of the locking device. Other example shipping containers, security devices, etc. are also disclosed.

Digital seal security system for side mounted swing-out type vehicle cargo access doors

The system includes a digital counter adapted to display a number which is changed in response to an actuation signal. A lock assembly mounted to the cargo door is connected to the counter. The lock assembly has a hollow housing within which a member having a recess adapted to receive the handle is moveable by the handle between an unlocked position, wherein the door may be opened, and a locked position, in which the door is prevented from being opened. A magnetically actuated switch is mounted within the housing. The switch is adapted to generate an actuation signal to the digital counter in response to movement of the member within the housing from its locked position. The signal causes the counter to change the displayed number, indicating that the door may have been opened in transit.

DOOR LOCKING ASSEMBLY

A trailer locking assembly for locking a door of a trailer includes a lock rod pivoting about its axis of elongation within an upper and a lower bracket. A top and bottom cam attach to the top and bottom of the lock rod, respectively, and the top and bottom cams are configured to engage with corresponding keepers. A handle attached to the bottom cam beneath the door is configured to engage with a first latch assembly. The latch assembly may be configured to be released from an interior of the trailer. The first latch assembly may be attached to the lower bracket. The locking assembly may have a second latch assembly for holding the door open.

LOCK DEVICE

The present invention discloses a casing that has a generally cylindrical configuration having a bottom side that includes a bottom side cavity. The bottom side has a topography that is generally a negative topography of a surface of an article with which the bottom side associates. The topography of the bottom side is defined by a plurality of offset surfaces that define raised edges, with the offset surfaces and resulting raised edges forming reliefs.

Door lock system and method

A door lock system and method includes a first latch member defining a threaded aperture and configured for attachment to a first door member, a second latch member having a slot and configured for attachment to a second door member, and a clamp member having an elongate shaft, a flange attached to a first end of the shaft, and a threaded, second end configured to be screwed into the threaded aperture; one end of the shaft defines a tool aperture. An end region adjacent the first end of the shaft is configured to be disposed through the slot. When a tool is used to rotate the shaft relative to the threaded aperture to move the flange towards the second latch member, the flange comes into abutment with the second latch member to connect the shaft and latch members together for securing the door members.
